"We ordered beignets with chocolate sauce, bbq bones less wings and fries, j chicken wings and potato skins. We are from out of state and relied solely on reviews. The reviews in Door Dash were SOOO RIGHT!!! The beignets were deliciously crispy, flakey yet moist and rich. My daughters boneless wings were gone within minutes, my husband and I couldn’t even process how many levels of flavor were in the j wings. So hot, flavorful and addicting. The potato skins had sour cream IN them! Whaaat? How could this get better? I called to check on the order because my Door Dash app wasn’t updating. The man who answered the phone, manager I think?, gave me an update, I thanked him and hung up. He called me right back to make sure I received the link he sent me with live updates on the order. MUST go to Wingos if you’re reading this!!! We will order again or eat in when we come back to DC!"

"I have ordered catering for our office two times from Tatte in Dupont Circle both times they left off key parts of the order. Trying to correct the issue got me nowhere. The catering department does not answer the phone, and the people in the store don't help with catering orders. The first time I was not even able to get a refund for the food that was not delivered. The second time I had to get ezcater to give me the refund. Do not order Tatte for catering. You and your clients/guests will be disappointed."

"In 1991, I spent 9.5 months living on Capitol Hill in a fantastic group house with a bunch of young guys. We were all new to D.C., figuring out the political scene and making plans about, well, planning. Back then, none of us had much money, so our nights out were few and far between. Now, I live in the suburbs, and I find myself nostalgic for the vibrant restaurant scene on Capitol Hill. One place that stands out is Ted’s Bulletin on 8th Street — a fun and whimsical spot for breakfast, perfect for those in the know about politics. Times have certainly changed; the trendiest places are getting stylish updates. And long live the Old Glory — my love for D.C. remains unwavering! A special thanks to Sir Mark from Guyana; the service was outstanding, and the meal was flawless! I look forward to visiting again soon!"

"The Avocado Toast was delicious! Be sure to order it with an egg and microgreens. I also enjoyed the Green Glow skincare shake, especially with the added spirulina. The Bomb Shot was fantastic for detox and overall health. The Caveman Balls are perfect for a quick healthy snack or a post-workout boost! I'll definitely be returning!"

"This was my first experience with Marco's Pizza, and I have to say... I know it might be a controversial opinion, but I think it's even better than Domino's and Little Caesars combined. The Pepperoni Magnifico was cooked to perfection and topped just right. I could go on and on. Everything about the pizza was flawless. I highly recommend checking this place out!"

"Paraiso actually has two spots, the main restaurant (which I've yet to visit) and the Cafe'; the Cafe is kind of tucked to the side between Fragers and another storefront. It's very easy to miss if you aren't paying attention! I always get the mocha latte, which tastes like a Mexican hot chocolate and latte had a baby! Very very delightful. The interior is extremely tastefully decorated with Mexican tchockies, art, and books. But somehow even though there is a lot of stuff the atmosphere is still very light and airy! The baristas take their time and pay attention to crafting your beverage so don't expect to come in and out. Good things take time and Cafe parisio is the perfect example of that adage. ETA i finally visited and had food. Did.not.disappoint! Food is delicious and appropiately priced ETA 2...i wish i could seperate the reviews. Because the cafe and resturant are seperate. Ive dropped the stars down one because the food at the restruant is not commensurate with the price point. Its fine nothing to write home about. My friend had rice and beans with a sunny side egg on top and i had thier chicken and waffles. She paid $25 i paid about the same. You're paying for the vibes not really the meal."

"The Challah French Toast Sticks were delicious, but a bit too sweet for my taste. The Bittersweet Symphony was fantastic—I really enjoyed the ricotta cheese and peach jam. It was hearty and a nice change of pace. I deducted a star because my to-go order didn't include utensils or napkins."

"Classy downtown restaurant for a nice fine dining experience. The seafood stew was good but was sobered by the small portion size (one scallop one piece of fish a couple of shrimp). Fortunately, the meat dishes saved the show. The Prime Rib was delicious and cooked to perfection. Also, the burger was top notch with quality meat and packed with flavor. There is a seasonal menu, so I might have to go back for other items, but I will not be going the seafood route here again."

"The Grandma Style Chicken Soup was a bit of a mixed bag. The soup itself was oily, and the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the vegetables were also undercooked. On the bright side, the matzo balls were fantastic—light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned. I would have been really disappointed if I had chosen the noodles instead. The mini challah was cute but a little stale. I'd definitely order again just for the matzo balls."

"This is one of the best places to go in DC. They don’t have valet parking but that is the only issue. We tried just about every item on the menu and all were amazing. The wine suggestion was great. We started with a cheese plate, amazing with apricots. We had salmon roe cones. To die for. Oyster were yummy! Two orders, one was just not enough. Calamari oh yes! Salmon with tomatoes yes! Lamb chops were amazing. And the scallops were a 10 plus. The egg with roe was nothing short of Wow! The ice cream and flan were amazing endings. I highly recommend this place. Really great service and great food. Clean rest rooms and top shelf everything."

"Service was excellent especially for a very busy, touristy spot trying to turn tables over. Crab and artichoke dip was five stars. The rest of the food was very good. I kept it very simple with fresh oysters and a salad. The salad was generous, fresh and dressed well with some really nice fresh blackberries. Oysters were fresh and good selections in general. Key Lime Pie was just OK, I’ve had much better. My friends enjoyed their food as well. Nobody raved about anything but they all cleaned their plates. One had the crab cakes, one had shrimp spaghettini. Atmosphere was decent, it’s a large somewhat noisy place but has that old DC kind of feel."

"I do not typically write reviews, but this dining experience warrants one. It is easy to walk right by the restaurant that is simply marked by a black door and a man speaking to in restaurant hosts through an ear piece to confirm the reservation before allowing you to enter. Despite being relatively small, the restaurant is beautifully designed. It is clear they put a lot of effort into creating a photo-ready dining experience. They had a DC restaurant week menu on their website with three-course meal options, which drew me to drive over an hour to join my friends for dinner. I will preface my review by saying that I visited the restaurant during restaurant week, so perhaps the experience is better at other times. Upon arriving, my friend shared that the restaurant week menu was very different than online because now there was only the option to select four tapas items. My friends (who have a more restrictive diet than mine) tried to find options they might select while waiting at the bar. Once we were seated, the restaurant week menu we were given was in fact different than the one at the bar and also than the one online. Once we started ordering, we learned they were out of the drink that I wanted and out of the first tapas item my friend wanted. My Donahue drink that I decided to order instead was not particularly good but it was beautiful. I would say the food not being particularly good but incredibly beautiful was the overall theme of the night. My rockfish ceviche was hardly cut and included tissue of the fish that has no business being in ceviche. My friend barely touched her ceviche because she shared a similar sentiment about it. The beef was too salty and the short rib was incredibly bland. The star of the show were the brussel sprouts though. They were well seasoned and crispy. I’d order those again and again. Finally, the complementary dessert that they brought out was clearly a tiny pre-made, previously frozen pastry with half a tablespoon of chocolate moose and a chunk of strawberry. As we went to pay, the waitress stood over us holding the card reader and positioned herself directly next to us to see what we selected for a tip. I always tip well (regardless of the service), but being watched during the process made us all feel uncomfortable. I was incredibly excited to try Donahue, but I was overall disappointed."

"This is my fifth time ordering from here, and it just keeps getting better with each visit. The homemade baked mac and cheese and the fried chicken wings are incredibly flavorful and never disappoint. My only complaint is that the portion size for the mac and cheese is a bit on the small side."

"The entrees were very disappointing. The fish board appetizer was extremely good, but things went downhill fast when we got our entrees. Vegetable sides were basically steamed with no seasoning whatsoever. If we wanted to eat that healthy we wouldn't be at a restaurant. The crab pot was basically all mussels with a couple shrimp and a few slices of sausage. To make it worse, some topping was dumped all the top of it making the eating of the mussels and clams a total mess. The fact that this huge restaurant was basically empty at 5 6:00 on a Friday afternoon should've been a tipoff. Which made the slow, inattentive service even more aggravating. The icing on the cake was that it was very expensive."

"I've been on the hunt for good roti in DC for a while, and I finally found it! The only downside is that the portion sizes could be larger, and I would have liked to see more chickpeas in the shrimp roti. Despite that, it was still delicious, and I plan to return. "Ultimate rating is 3.5 stars.While I enjoyed my pizza and thought the food was overall good, I'm surprised by the near perfect reviews. Went at 7pm on a Saturday night, and they were out of half of the menu items (which doesn't make a ton of sense since most of the ingredients are similar throughout each pizza). Our server tried to point out a few out of stock options, but when I went to order an appetizer, that was apparently not available.We ordered an arancini-like appetizer and I asked for a side of tomato sauce (which I've always gotten with similar apps), and our server immediately said no they don't offer that before I could even finish my question. Ok .... I go to order my first choice pizza after she told us all of the out of stock options. That pizza is also not available.Overall, the food is good but nothing to write home about and I saw similar reviews saying that the restaurant was out of stock of many of the menu items. I'm shocked so many people claim this is the best pizza they've had in DC... it was far from it."

"The staff were incredibly caring and attentive. I sat at the bar and was genuinely impressed by the level of service from the moment I arrived. They truly pay attention to their customers. While I was reading, one staff member even subtly adjusted the lighting closer to me as it got darker inside. The atmosphere was fantastic. If I could afford it, I'd definitely be a regular here. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of food and level of service—it's just not something I can manage to do frequently. Overall, it was a wonderful experience."

"This is hands down the best Chinese food I've found in DC. It's truly authentic. The sesame chicken is fantastic, and you have the option to get all white meat, which is even better. The General Tso's chicken is excellent too. We also really enjoy the wonton soup and egg rolls; they give you a generous amount of soup noodles, which we appreciate!"

I'm not sure why the food was only at that temperature since Chick-fil-A is only about 5-8 minutes from my house. However, I have to give an A+ for the Chocolate Fudge Brownie!"
