"I dined here for lunch on a Friday around noon, and my server, Cheri, was fantastic—very attentive and knowledgeable about the daily specials and able to answer all my questions. The gumbo was outstanding, almost as good as my own! It had just the right amount of roux, packed with shrimp, andouille sausage, and chicken. The flavor layers were incredible; it was spicy enough that you didn’t need to add any extra heat—just enough to make you say "ahhhh." I can only imagine that the dish would bring tears to the eyes of most Floridians. The shrimp po' boy is absolutely to die for, featuring four large, fresh shrimp that literally melt in your mouth. The sauce was perfectly balanced to enhance the shrimp without overpowering it. And the cajun potatoes? Simply delicious. So, for all you aspiring Mardi Gras enthusiasts, you absolutely must come here. You won't be disappointed with the cuisine!"

"This was my first visit, and I can confidently say this charming spot offers the best breakfast I've ever had in the Cape. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and the eggs were absolutely perfect. The potatoes were sautéed in French butter and cooked to perfection. After two years, I've finally found a cup of coffee that truly satisfies. My wife enjoyed the fluffiest French toast I've ever seen. I will definitely return, and I highly recommend that you give it a try at least once. This is French cuisine at its finest!"

"At Maria's Pizzeria, we started with two appetizers, but it took quite some time before our soups arrived, while some in our group received salads. The soups were very flavorful, though the salads were just average. We ended up spending nearly three hours at the restaurant. Once all our dishes were served, it felt like we had to hurry the server to place the rest of our orders. There were four servers attending to our table, and we chose to leave a 20% tip for our main server, as we felt she might not have been fully trained or was struggling to manage our large group along with her other tables. Overall, the menu had good options, but the service could use some improvement."

"Looking for a new place to take our Cape Coral friends while visting here, and found KeKe's! I had eaten at the KeKe's in Orlando three years ago, and remembered how fabulous it was! This location on Pine Island is just as wonderful! It wasValentine's Day at 1030am, and there was a 30 minute wait, accurate, so we sat in our car until we got a text message that tableready...perfect! We were seated in a roomy booth for the four of us, comfy cushions and space for purses and the table not tooclose to our bellies!! My eggs Benedict were delicious, with good home fries. My friend had the Pecan waffle with plenty ofpecans inside and on top; yummy! My other friend had a waffle with baked cinnamon apple topping, very good. And my husbandenjoyed his ham and cheese omelet, home fries and toast. For a breakfast dessert after my Benedict, I had their pina coladastuffed French Toast, and got to take some of it home. Everything was delicious, and I saw other folks with lovely fruittoppings on their pancakes. Our server Sarah took great care of us, kept us in drink refills and made sure we were happy. Thisis a nice, upbeat breakfast restaurant and I do recommend it!!"

"Masala Mantra was a delightful find in Cape Coral! They clearly label their vegetarian options on the menu, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that many items can be made vegan without any special request. Their website also states that they have several vegan mantras, which we appreciated. We enjoyed everything we ordered and had no complaints. The Manchurian cauliflower was superb (a must-try), the chana masala had just the right amount of flavor and spice, the Dal-Saag was a tasty surprise (next time we'll order it medium spice), and the vegan naan was fluffy and delicious. The naan was a pleasant surprise, and we loved being able to choose between garlic and plain options, as we usually only see plain naan available."

"The food and service were both excellent. I gave it four stars mainly due to the discomfort I felt in the smaller indoor spaces. However, they do have a spacious outdoor seating area. During my first visit, I was treated very well even though I hadn't made a reservation. I ordered French toast and a three-protein omelet with spinach, feta, and tomatoes. The portions were larger than I expected, and the food tasted fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to both locals and tourists. Another bonus is that they serve breakfast all day!"

"Had a gift card from pre COVID and finally had time to use it. I am so glad we did! I remembered the location, across from the old big John plaza. The open porch generates an upscale Greek island vibe but with a view of a parking lot and street out front, the dining room is posh with booths in an intimate setting. Checking in, the small fresh fish market is beckoning the quality of the fare. We chose the outdoor high top for lunch which was served by Tina who multi tasked as bartender as well). The service was on point and attentive. The Oysters Rockefeller was perfectly deconstructed with superbly fried oysters 3) creamed spinach and crisp bacon in perfect measure that let the moist oyster shine. Next we had Jumbo sized peel and eat shrimp that were more like little lobster tails cooked to perfection. The crab cake sandwich was amazing in taste, size and real crab abundance. The bun was of high quality and toasted correctly the tomato slice was dried out and not really needed). I hate to admit it but the onion rings were the best I have ever had, again fried crisply and the onion inside was creamy and dissolved on the tongue bursting with flavor. We paid with the old gift card which was honored and informed by Tina about a special gift card offer that was going on and a tremendous value $150. Value for each $100. paid). We purchased the card at the beautiful fresh market and realized we couldn't cook any of fish better than the chefs did. Needless to say, with this quality and more than reasonable prices, we will be back to sample more treats"

"Update: 9-23-23 Their crust has NO flavor and tastes like cardboard. There is NO sauce on the pizza, and the crust is mush!!! What is going on here? Such a shame to see it going downhill. Unfortunately, this has turned into a Chuckie Cheese pizza joint. We tried talking with the manager about small children screaming, and running around the restaurant, and she told us it was kid's night. Why are kids in a sports bar during the week at 10:00 pm running around?"

The thin crust pepperoni and black olive pizza was burnt on the bottom, and my husband ended up throwing it away. The second pizza was a white pizza with ricotta cheese, and it was overcooked and extremely dry. It was the worst white pizza I have ever had; I’ve ordered the same one from here before, and it was fine. The third pizza was a cheese pizza, which my son said was okay for him. I'm not sure what went wrong with the cooking that night, but it definitely wasn't up to par. For over $50, I expected much better quality than what we received. On the positive side, the delivery driver was very nice!"

"I ordered the seafood Pad Thai and it was just downright mediocre. First of all, no chopped peanuts or bean sprouts to be found anywhere. Just noodles coated in sauce (sauce was fine I guess but nothing to write home about). The seafood? A lobster tail, some mussels, some shrimp and some scallops. Now, this *should* sound good, but the seafood had zero, and I mean ZERO seasoning on them. It was literally like boiled lobster, scallops, and shrimp that they have pre-cooked (and again, no seasoning) and just plopped on the noodles at the end. It was so bland and boring. For the price, it's almost comical. The Tom Kha soup was pretty good so that's that. Can't speak for the other items on the menu but this experience alone makes me not want to order from here ever again. Very disappointing."

"My husband and I are regulars at Tuesday's steak night and always make a 6:00 PM reservation in advance. Upon arrival at 6:00 PM the place was packed and we were told it would be at least a 30 minute wait. The point of making a reservation is to AVOID waiting. A simple reserved sign on a table for two would have been appropriate. Other diners were advised of the wait time as well. Looks like bad front of the house management to me. We will be dining elsewhere if this continues."

"Here's my take on the food and experience at IchiYummy. For just $13 at lunchtime, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat sushi, teriyaki, hibachi, and sashimi. The food overall was fantastic – even for a meat lover like me! The shrimp and noodle dish stood out as particularly excellent. I really appreciated the small portion sizes, as they allowed me to be adventurous and try a variety of fresh items. I even sampled octopus sushi, which I didn’t enjoy, but it was my first time trying octopus and likely my last! You’re given a sheet where you can choose whatever you'd like, including dessert. The service was exceptional, and the staff encouraged me to try as much as I could eat – which I certainly did! This concept is brilliant for Americans since it promotes eating as much as you can without wasting food. Just a heads-up: they don’t offer takeout, and if you don’t finish the sushi you order, there’s a 75-cent charge per piece. It’s a smart way to reduce waste. I highly recommend stopping by!"

"We visited this restaurant tonight and ordered food and drinks. Our server, a friendly bald man, initially provided good service but later seemed to ignore us. Another nice lady eventually took our order. The price of $14 for a Buffalo Trace and Coke was exorbitant, especially considering it was weak. The food was reasonably priced but just average. I ordered the Bully with Mac-n-cheese, but found the sandwich had a strange taste. The Mac-n-cheese was okay. My wife enjoyed her fancy drink, despite the high price. She also ordered the Mac-n-cheese with chicken, which she liked but left her slightly hungry. To our surprise, we were charged a 3.5% credit card surcharge that was not disclosed beforehand. Despite coming for the band playing, we were disappointed by the high liquor prices and lackluster experience. We will not be returning and do not recommend this place to others. Price range per person: $20-30. Food: 3 stars. Service: 3 stars. Atmosphere: 3 stars."

"The eggs and other items were cooked to order, which was nice, but the waffle… I love waffles, but I’m not a fan of Belgian waffles. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any option here. My issue with them is that they're often undercooked, and the one I received was no exception. I had requested only butter and maple syrup (which was already on the table), but mine came undercooked and topped with strawberries and powdered sugar. I didn’t want to wait another 5-10 minutes for a replacement, so I decided to just deal with it. Overall, it was a fairly good breakfast. I arrived at 11:15 AM, and it was quite crowded. This is only the second time I’ve had to wait at a restaurant since moving to Florida, and I waited about 15 minutes. I don’t hold that against them, as the staff was buzzing around efficiently. The place was filled with families, older folks, and quite a few larger individuals, which I suppose is a good sign. Once I was seated, the service was prompt, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. A manager even stopped by to say hello. However, I found it annoying that I was asked four times if I needed my coffee warmed up. If you drink it black, that’s fine, but for those who add sugar and cream, every time it’s diluted, you have to readjust the drink. I guess that’s just my pet peeve. Overall, it wasn’t too shabby, and I plan to return at some point to try the omelets."

"I absolutely love Twisted Lobster! It has become our go-to restaurant whenever we have guests in town, which is quite often. We've never had a bad meal, service, or experience during any of our visits. Unlike another local seafood restaurant where our guests left still feeling hungry, we’ve always had more than enough at Twisted Lobster—thankfully! The food is excellent quality, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is friendly, providing top-notch customer service. If there's a wait, their outdoor bar is a great spot to enjoy a drink while you wait to be seated. I highly recommend Twisted Lobster for appetizers, lunch, or dinner!"

"I had dinner at Cork Soakers Deck Wine Bar on September 16, 2023, with a group of friends. Can I tell you the menu looks delicious? Now, I have had celiac disease and a soy allergy for 15 years and eating out is tough. So, I called the restaurant to find out what I could eat. And I spoke to Bob, the owner who was awesome! Unfortunately, I could not have anything cooked in the fryer or food that contained mayonnaise. And of course, that meant that the risotto and the eggs diablo are out! BUT they use Udi’s gluten free bread which was a plus for me. Also, I could have steamed vegetables, salmon, and filet mignon. I ordered the Bacchus board which was good. I am not sure about the jams, but I enjoyed the cheese and meats. As for my friends, they devoured the coconut shrimp and buffalo chicken wings. For dinner I had gluten free pasta topped with grilled salmon. That is right! It is not on the menu! I know right! Yes, Bob, went out and bought me gluten free pasta! My meal was delicious. And my friends got prime rib which they raved about. A big shout out to the staff and Chef! They were attentive and provided quality service! We had a fun time, and the food was excellent. Thank you, Bob, for taking care of my gluten and soy dietary needs! You rock!"

"Sicily Trattoria, located on Cape Coral Parkway in Cape Coral, FL, here are my thoughts on the food and ambiance. After marking it a few years ago, I finally decided to stop in. Was it worth the wait? I started with their house-made bread, served warm. Then I had Grandma Minenmann's soup, which was the best I've had here. The secret ingredient? Just a pinch of cayenne pepper. For my main course, I tried the lasagna, which was excellent and piping hot right out of the oven. The service was fantastic as well. I definitely need to come back and try the pizza; I've heard great things about it. It's worth giving them a chance!"
