"I want to love this place b/c I live in the area and the dining room is just beautiful: intimate, warm, elegant. But the twice I 've eaten here have been disappointing. Last night I had Chicken Breast with Duck Sausage splashed with port wine and balsamic vinegar. The chicken was not splashed, but drowning in the sauce, which was overly sweet, and so a lot less would 've been more. It ruined the meal for me. On the positive side, the duck sausage, once extricated from all the sauce, was quite good and different. The French Onion soup, with which I started my meal, was very good. On a previous occasion, I had the Spaghetti Puttanesca, which was a lot of spaghetti, but little of the black olives, anchovies and fresh tomatoes. So, in effect, it was spaghetti with a hint of puttanesca, quite disheartening. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"
