"We celebrated New Years Eve at Dio Deka and it was over the top! The menu was a four-course meal with multiple choices for each course and everything was delicious! Every table was filled and the restaurant was packed, but service was perfect and smooth. The seating started at 8:45 PM and the last part of the meal blended into music and dancing. Plenty of room for guests to move about and the bar was easy to access for more drinks. There was a photo booth to take fun photos and the restaurant was decorated for a fun NYE party! Absolutely will be back next year! Highly recommend!"

"Our group ordered the Halibut Cocktail, Burrata, and Truffle Fries to share, and I chose the Pork Chop as my main dish. Everything was delicious and fresh. The Pork Chop was a thick cut, and even though I don't usually eat much pork, this dish was incredibly juicy. We also shared the Apricot Crumble and a scoop of seasonal ice cream for dessert, both of which were delightful. Our waitress was attentive and courteous. Overall, this is a well-established local restaurant with several other locations in the Bay Area. I would definitely consider returning to explore more of their menu."

"I really love this place. It's super cute and cozy. The hostess and the waiters are friendly and prompt. Went here for happy hour. Will definitely go back and try their dinner options.Got a glass of cab and their wild mushroom aranchini's. My friend got the Pinot and chicken sliders. The food and the drinks were pretty good. Overall a great experience and would definitely go back. They have a special during happy hours on their wine bottles. Definitely check it out if you are like me and on the look out for good wine for when people come over."

"Went here for a date night with my husband and was able to get a reservation and hour out without issue. We sat on the patio which was nice but very warm because of the sunshades blocking the breeze, but once they went up it was better. The service was basically non-existent. Someone came to us with menus when we were seated and we had to wait about 20min before someone came to take our drink order. After quite a wait, the wine flight was brought to us and we then had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for someone to come and take our food order. There was a LOT of waiting. No one checked in to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. After finishing our wine flight and ordering a martini, the food finally arrived. Mushroom and sausage risotto for my husband and parpadelle alla vodka for myself. The food was good, not stellar. The risotto was more of a rice in broth and not a creamy risotto that we are used to getting at risottorias or east coast Italian joints. The food was large portions and hot though. Noone ever came to see how it was or if we needed anything else. Eventually I flagged someone down for the check and to get a cannoli to go. The cannoli was hard as a rock, so I wouldn't get it again. We decided to order takeout tonight for my brother's birthday, since the food was good and maybe ordering takeout would eliminate the disappointment of the service. Unfortunately two of the items we ordered were not correct. They were correct on the receipt but not made properly. My mother ordered the salmon Caesar salad, and as you can see from the picture it was literally just a piece of salmon on wilted greens. No dressing, no croutons as the description says. She was very disappointed. Then the birthday boy ordered linguine carbonara, and it was definitely not carbonara. 100% was Alfredo sauce, no egg yolk in sight. He was very disappointed, and said it was oily and bland. I got the parpadelle again and it was very good. It was really disappointing to get two of the items made incorrectly with no way to fix them, but we have learned our lesson and won't be back here."

"The food was extremely disappointing. All eight of us were shocked to find that the reviews of this restaurant were accurate. The service was mediocre with minimal friendliness or hospitality. The customers here seem to have unsophisticated taste buds. The chicken dishes looked better in photos but were greasy and unappetizing. The twill pancake was overly crispy, lacked flavor, and was not spicy. Overall, it was a waste of time and calories."

"(I was a food server, minus 1 star for service after 3 visits). Sad, but honest. Don 't come here, go across street to Los Gatos Cafe. 1st time we sat on patio and I had to walk inside and fill my coffee multiple times. I wanted to return by myself and try before reviewing. I sat at bar. Waitress was nice and friendly. My eggs food was delivered within 3 minutes of ordering which is weird indicating it was cooking before I ordered (poor). When the food arrived it was missing the toast and I handed the plate back to server explaining I eat toast while eating eggs (I don 't want the eggs, and the toast 5 minutes later). My food was cold when toast and eggs arrived together and I should not have paid for this meal (shame on restaurant manager). Later I friendly explained to server why I had her keep eggs in window and she said "we don 't do it that way, we deliver eggs, and toast 5-10 minutes later). I was a food server and why is it that all the billionaire restaurateurs said you are supposed to deliver food all together? Are they stupid? Or is this business just another business figuring out a way to cut corners on, asking for pitty while raising prices, on my dime. I ' 'll return, but it will be the last time I tip if this poor service continues. I know you want to read nothing but positive reviews (you all do), but that is not reality here."

"Breakfast is my favorite dinner of the day, but I don't have time to eat it. So if I choose a place to breakfast / brunch, I am sure to choose wisely. Southern Kitchen offers excellent food with great service and will not disappoint. The food here is GOOD and the portions big enough to really fill you. I ate quite a lot to the edge of throwing up, and I still wanted more! The service is super friendly where they even fall on a knee to take your order. The place is quite small and is quite crowded. We came at 1 o'clock (I guess this is not really breakfast or brunch more), but still there was a short 10-15 minutes waiting for a party of 2. I would highly recommend this place if you have a desire for a good hearty breakfast with service to keep you smile."

"We visited on Friday the 13th, and unfortunately, the restaurant's computer system was down, leading to some other issues. Our server seemed to attribute the slow service to the day’s challenges, and our friend's order wasn't correct. We had to ask for water refills, which suggested they might have been short-staffed as well. Since it was my first time dining here, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt because my friend enjoys this place enough to choose it for her birthday lunch. I understand that they could have just had an off day. However, based on my experience, I would say the food I ordered was good. Since I don't live close by, I’m not sure if I'll return, but I may consider giving it another chance during future visits to my friend."

"Surprised at the positive reviews. Service was excruciatingly slow, even with barely any customers. We waited ages for anyone to come by the table after being seated. And ages again for drinks to arrive. And ages again for food to arrive. And the food was cold. No one came to refill waters, either. The food is extremely basic and not very tasty. For example, the salad had only a few ingredients and looked like each had just come out of its bag (like clumped up dried cranberries), plus a little bit of dressing in a side container. So disappointing. I'd never come back."

"Bread heaven! Amazing kouign amann, the buttery flakiest croissants, the best Lavin, and that chocolate panettone! No trip to Los Gatos is complete without visiting them. Best of the best! Come to San Diego please!"

"Beautifully crafted desserts (very expensive $10+ per). The mousse ones we tried (we bought 3, 1 to take away and 2 eaten on the scene) were light, airy and not very sweet. So if you 're looking for substance weight in your dessert, this ain 't it. Must return to try the tartes, which look like the crust would provide heft. I 'm usually very much a chocolaholic, but in this case I preferred the Mango Mousse (with passion fruit in the middle) made the deepest impression. I thought the Royal was meh, and the Raspberry Mousse w chocolate was scandalous (made with white chocolate). But overall I 'd say we should return to try again, even after spending $40+ for 4 small desserts!"

"Great little place in LG for dinner and cocktails. Came here on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food they serve as I was just expecting some nice cocktails and bar food. We had the charcuterie plate and chicken wings for appetizers and both were great. The wings were well seasoned not hot wings, but their own spices) and were tender and juicy. I had the mushrooms and truffle pasta which was amazing! So many mushrooms! Hubby had the burger surprise! It came with two patties). Everything was great! Ambiance, service and price. Will defiantly come back."

"Aldo’s Ristorante has been in my top restaurants list for well over a decade. Serving delicious Italian main dishes, appetizers and desserts, Aldo and his staff cook some of the most amazing dishes I’ve tasted and a couple staples that just taste more tantalizing at Aldo’s. The calamari and Caesar salad for some reason tastes better at Aldo’s. I’d say it’s the dressing on the Caesar and the light and crispy coating on the calamari. The Sophia Special and Chicken Parmigiana are my favorite pasta meat dish. Aldo’s rib eye steak is delicious and sometimes when I want a good steak, I head to Aldo’s vs a steakhouse. Love the quality of meat and the way it’s prepared. So good. Desserts are yummy and don’t miss the limoncello. Full bar, beer and wine. Reservations by calling the restaurant. Outdoor and indoor seating. Clean restrooms."

"New favorite brunch place in the Bay unlocked!!! This place has a long wait if you coming during peak (weekend morning) hours and there's a reason for it their breakfast is so delicious, they have ample amounts of seating both inside and outside the cafe, and their prices are super reasonable! This is what we ordered: Basic Breakfast with crabcake, 2 poached eggs, and herb potatoes (4.25/5): crab cake was a bit smaller than I had hoped, but they had generous amounts of delicious potatoes and it comes with a side so it was still worth it. Their poached eggs were good but I recommend scrambled eggs to go with the crab cake. The hollandaise sauce was thick and eggy, perfect with eggs and crab cake. Raspberry Coffee Cake (5/5): comes with the basic breakfast (but you can order it a la carte) and this stole the show!!! The cake texture was perfectly soft and moist and crumbly, so it falls apart and melts in your melt instead of on your fork. Loved the mild and not overly sweet raspberry flavor! They also served it with sweetened butter, which made it even better. A must get if you come here!!! Seafood French Pancake (4.5/5): can be weird initially from the sweet and savory combo but it definitely grew on me. They were generous on the shrimp and crab. The french crepe was so soft and delicious."

"Packed house on a Friday night, but we managed to press in the bar. Very friendly staff. Starters were served quickly, but Entrees was behind. Apparently we were behind a huge order for a big party. After that it was smooth sailing. Everything we ordered was fantastic:. Foie gras patte, mushroom soup, duck confit with risotto, meat loaf... Everything was clean the dish delicious. Good stuff."

"I visited again for the Saturday night live music and had a great time. They offered delicious pie slices from the Italian restaurant next door, which were fantastic! The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere here is much more relaxed compared to many other coffee shops. There’s also a wide variety of tasty pastry options. Overall, I enjoyed a lovely dinner experience. Price per person was around $10–20."

"The restaurant is a bit tricky to locate since it's nestled among several office buildings, but it’s definitely worth the search. We tried the Vietnamese grilled pork and shredded chicken sandwiches, and both were absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes as well; each order felt like it included two sandwiches compared to other places. The flavors of the shredded chicken and grilled pork were outstanding, and the pickled carrots added the perfect touch. Our order was prepared quickly, and it was nice to see the kitchen staff working right behind the counter. The cashier was also extremely friendly. While the dining space is somewhat limited—with only three or four small tables inside and a few outside—the quality of the food and service makes it a fantastic option for takeout."
