New Britain, conosciuta come "Hardware City" per le sue radici manifatturiere, offre un mix di cucina americana e polacca, con pierogi come piatto locale popolare.

"Hidden gem in New Britain.I had the dinner combo. Although I only got 1 piece of beef teriyaki with the combo meal it was DELICIOUS. tender and juicy..the wonton soup was hot and amazing as well as the shrimp lo mein. The best that I have had. They end your dining with aperitif wine and a hot towel.Definitely will be back."

"Went there and the waiter was absolutely rude to the individuals I went with that had disabilities. He seemed as if it was an inconvenience to order more than water, brought food and never came back to check on us. The food was okay tasty but didn’t bring everything that was ordered (for example I order a meal with shrimp and scallops and they only brought the scallops)"

"I believe it was Alexandria and Danielle working on Tuesday night, and I must say their customer service is impressive. I had a complicated order, and both ladies were patient and answered all of my questions. When I went to pick up my order and there was a mistake, they resolved it promptly without any problems. Great employees with positive attitudes."

"Friendly, professional and tasty! I have a nut allergy and by calling in my order it was said that it was okay that they get it all the time. She explained when written on the order, all food remains far away from the peanut oil. Actually, they mentioned that only the frits are cooked in peanut oil, so everything else is good. We tried the loaded Salty balls! They were fantastic! 4 perfectly cooked potatoes small but good size order. Coated in cheese, bacon, chives, and we got a small glass of sour cream to put on them. Omg. DELICIOUSNESS! I loved having their Salty balls in my mouth!?? Now for her meat. We tried the American classic burger and the Patty melt. Thick and juicy. Try like a summer BBQ in the middle of winter. The American had all the basics you love. chopped raw onion, yellow mustard, ketchup, tons of pimples and cheese. The patty melt made me jealous. As good as my burger was, the patty melt is on another level of taste. Fresh rye bread, roasted, roasted soft onions, a burger cooked to crush juicy perfection in Swiss cheese, so if you pull it apart, the cheese gets all strings and your mouth starts only to water. We also tried one side of Mac n cheese. That was good. No strength here! It had paprika in that which added a beautiful taste. We will be back and try more amazing menu items. Stop the fantastic job!"

"Compared to other pizza places in the area, this restaurant truly stands out as the best. They serve the finest pizza, with delicious sauce and generous slices, all while allowing you to customize your order to your preferences. The customer service is exceptional, with friendly staff that enhance the experience. Delivery is quick, and the food always arrives hot. Those who criticize this pizza simply don't know what they're missing. When stacked against Nick's and Tony's, this place is the clear winner. They serve authentic New York-style pizza, which is hard to find elsewhere. Plus, they have a large parking lot and even a drive-thru, making it the ultimate pizza destination."

"This Polish restaurant on the East Coast is one of the best, offering a varied menu, friendly wait staff, and delicious food. The homemade chicken soup, with even the noodles being homemade, and the outstanding beet soup paired with mushroom ravioli were highlights of our meal. We also enjoyed the Belvedere platter, which included a tasty Kabasa and amazing pierogi. The menu offers enough variety that we plan to come back multiple times. The average price per person for dinner is $30-50. Recommended dishes include pierogies, the Belvedere Platter, and potato pancakes."

"Had a Margherita pizza and it was horrible. They didn't put any basil, any olive oil and it didnt even taste like they put pesto on it at all. Pepperoni pizza was average at most. I had buffalo wings and jack daniels wings and they both were disappointing. Neither one tasted like they were supposed to! Not a single taste of jack daniels sauce nor buffalo sauce. It was definitely not worth the $70. Truly disappointing."

"Best tasting meat lovers pizza around. It’s loaded with meat and cheese and DELICIOUS! We always order a large pizza so if there are a couple of pieces left it sure makes a great lunch after heating it on the gas grill or in the hot air fryer. "The restaurant offers rolled ice cream, milkshakes, bubble teas, and cheesecake slices. The employees are very friendly and the lobby is kept clean. It's best to check out the menu from outside before entering the building. The cups used for milkshakes and bubble tea are quite thin and flimsy, so be careful. The milkshakes are on the milky side, but you can ask for them to be thicker. The rolled ice cream is delicious and made with fresh fruit. If you spend over $25 in a single transaction, you will receive a mystery prize."

"The best Spanish food so far that I have ever had, we've been to restaurants in Hartford, New Haven and others in and around New Britain but none have come close to the service or quality and definitely none have come close to the flavor or portions the Criollisimo restaurant presents. Great job! It's no wonder why the lines are long but move quickly at this establishment. Keep up the great job guys/girls. Brenda the owner has figured it out!"

"My fam loves this place. The products are fresh and fully stocked on shelves. They often run out of bread and certain popular desserts, so you have to go early, in order to find what you're looking for. Generally, the staff is always friendly and willing to help. There have been a few of them that act as if they can't hear you or truly, they don't want to be there and they speak their language, keep their heads down and walk away so for that reason I took a star off, otherwise, we love buying items from here and trying new things. The cash area is always quick and they do accept cash, debit and credit. They have a minor drink area with imported beer. They also sell a few basic produce too. As soon as you walk in, to your left, you will see a restaurant and they have a seating area to get a sandwich and or sit to read a newspaper, etc. They also make brewed coffee there as well. They have two counters for deli meat. One in the front beside the desserts and cheese section and the second area is to the back, where they have homemade cuts back there and I'd suggest going there to see what they have also. A person will come out to help you and to freshly cut whatever you need. Beside that back area of deli meats, they have a hot counter of assorted ready-to-eat food items and it differs every day and they also have a salad bar with main popular Polish salads, predominantly made of cabbage, beets and or assorted veggies, etc. Overall, we tried a few of their ready-to-go foods but we like to make homemade stuff at home because we generally go pretty late and the food sits out for a while and loses the freshness (at least, that is our experience from that section). We definitely hit up the salad bar area and the deli for freshly cut meats. They have a vast dairy section and a whole other area with assorted products. A section for tea, desserts, cookies, drinks, etc. It's a fully stocked store and I guarantee if you've never been there before, you will need at least 1 or 2 hours, reading what things are and seeing things you've probably never seen before. A lot of it comes from Europe and most items are literally not even in English so you have to see by the pictures, what they are. Reasonably priced overall!! It's a fun and cultural experience if you are not Polish and definitely a lot of delicious things to try. I think you should give it a try and know that they are very clean there. The hours are shorter than other stores so be careful and mindful of that. They are CLOSED MONDAYS!! Open Tuesday-Friday from 7am-7pm and Saturday, they close at 6:30pm and Sunday, they close at 2:00pm. We love their cheese and apple danishes or streusels ... OMG! Soooo good!!! Check them out!!!!"

"We were in the area. The staff was quick and friendly. We ordered the chicken marsala and the meatball grinder. The role they served was old and broke down when we tried to put some butter. I ordered a meatball grinder and got an eggplant grinder instead. I brought this to the waitress, but she told me I ordered the eggplant. The frits were good and fresh. I was disappointed. It seems like I ordered breakfast."

"First of all, if I order the delivery and pay for it, it's for a reason. I have a special need for adults and sometimes cannot get out. I made an order for chicken teriyaki. Don't ask much. I called because the chicken was burned and the rice was uncooked. No taste. I'll call back and the guy I'm talking to says if you want a new order, you have to pick him up. I'll tell him my situation. After debating with him to give me another order. He says, I hope you tipped the driver well, because now I have to send him back. Tiped him $5 btw What a customer service is that!! I called back and told him I didn't want the order. That I never wanted to order from here again. If you don't show compassion from my situation, you don't deserve my money or my time."

"Stopped in to grab a pizza for my grandson and a grinder for myself after shopping at Aldi's. I had a glass of merlot while we waited. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was incredibly clean. Our food was ready quite fast. We're new to the area and this is our 3rd pizza restaurant to try. 1 2 were less than desirable . My grandson (13) ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and he rates it a 10 ! I ordered the chicken cutlet grinder and it's absolutely delicious . We are both very very happy Parking: Large shared lot. Plenty of parking."

"Today I visited a restaurant and was quite satisfied with my experience. I ordered plain wings and after a short wait of about 5 minutes they were delivered piping hot. The wings were toasted to perfection and, to my taste, were really delicious. The fries also deserve a special mention: crispy and very well seasoned with salt and pepper, although they also offer the option to customize the seasoning. The place has had some changes since my last visit. They used to have a pool table, which is no longer available, which somewhat affected the atmosphere I expected to find. It seems that the place is now more frequented by people who prefer to take their orders home. However, the service was excellent; The person who served me was very respectful and kind, which I highly value in any establishment. As for the atmosphere, although you can eat on site, I would say that it is simple and cozy. I think that with some improvements, they could make it an even more familiar and pleasant environment. In short, it is a good place to enjoy delicious wings and fries, with friendly and respectful service. I hope that in the near future they make some improvements to enrich the experience of diners who prefer to stay and eat at the place."

"As an appetizer, we ordered the wurst sampler, which included bratwurst, knockwurst, and German sausage served over sauerkraut with mustard and demi-glaze. Although I'm not typically a fan of sausage, I found the bratwurst to be my favorite; it was tender and packed with flavor. The mustard and sauerkraut added wonderful, complex tastes to the dish. For my main course, I chose the Paprika Schnitzel. All entrees come with a seasonal vegetable and your choice of potato: spätzle (potato noodles), mashed potatoes, potato pancakes, or fries. I went for the potato pancakes, which were delightful and had a fantastic crispy texture. The seasonal vegetable was buttered carrots, a classic side that never disappoints. The schnitzel was crispy and hearty, complemented perfectly by the creamy paprika gravy. Everything worked harmoniously together. Everyone in our party enjoyed their selected beers, with the grapefruit beer being a standout favorite—refreshing and flavorful. If you're ever in the New Britain area, I highly recommend visiting East Side Restaurant! Accessibility: The restaurant features a ramp at the entrance and an accessible bathroom at the back."

"Most of the staff here are really upbeat and friendly. The food is delicious, and although it can be a bit pricey, they offer Tender Tuesdays, which gives almost a 50% discount on an order of 8 wings, so definitely take advantage of that. They have a variety of tasty flavors, but I personally wouldn't recommend their buffalo sauce; I'd suggest trying some of their other unique flavors instead. Just a quick tip: avoid placing your order in the last hour before closing, as they sometimes rush and forget to include the sauce—I’ve experienced that a couple of times. On the plus side, ordering through their website is very convenient."
