"Moving on to the nachos, they were massive enough for our table of six, but we polished off the whole platter without leaving a trace behind—only the receipt remained as evidence of our feast! The nachos were made with fried wontons topped with Vietnamese pulled pork, pickled carrots, peppers, sliced green onions, and fresh cilantro, accompanied by pickled jalapeños on the side. They also came with a delicious toasted sesame sriracha sauce. I have no idea how such an amazing combination was created, but my family absolutely devoured it. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including chicken and waffles, a peanut butter and jam burger, the Griffon burger, and I shared a "Just the Tips" meal with a family member. The ambiance of the restaurant felt reminiscent of an old tavern, and the decor added to its charm. Our server was exceptional, frequently checking in on us and refilling our drinks. Great service all around!"

The smoothy was also good, but nothting exceptional to get me coming back here, opposed to anywhere else. Vegetarian options: They have some options that appear vegan, more that seem vegetarian. Wheelchair accessibility: The place looked accessible, 1/3 of the seating is raised 3 steps, but 2/3 is flat, including the bathroom. "We’re giving one star because there isn’t an option to go lower. Had dinner on a Friday night that we would love to forget. The service is great, lovely choice of a sweet wine, too. However, the food is an absolute let down. My daughter loves pasta and ordered the homemade spaghetti; it was skeptical enough that the menu doesn’t indicate any flavour or ingredient in it, except the waitress told it is their red sauce. It turned out to be a large plate of overcooked soft noodle with what tastes like tomato sauce straight from a can. My wife had a battered veal steak.. it is basically two pieces of tasteless deep fried meat, with the same disastrous tomato sauce. Paired with water boiled vege and some lettuce-only ‘salad’, sorry to say that it’s been a worst food experience since a long long time. The only good thing about this place is that it would make you feel in heaven in whatever other places you go."

"We had an early dinner following the show. The location is good as it's a two min walk from the theatre. The menu is limited and the quality of the food terrible. Two guests had the Ribs which were boiled and +50% fat, disgusting. The third guest had the Chicken Marsala which was tasteless and the fourth had the Caesar Salad which was not great containing mostly the white light leaves of the romaine lettuce. The service was ok and although we told the server the food was not up to par, she did not offer an apology or options to rectify the situation. Very disappointing experience overall and will not go back."

"Cooking our own steak at the table was certainly a unique experience, but I found the absence of seasoning and marination disappointing. Instead of being provided with a flavorful cut of meat, we received a plain slab of raw steak along with just salt and pepper. The side dishes were also not served very warm, which was quite ironic considering the stone next to them was heated to 800°. I attempted to warm them up using the stone, but it was still disappointing that the kitchen didn't ensure they arrived hot. On a brighter note, our server was attentive and friendly, which we genuinely appreciated. Overall, while it was an interesting experience, I don't think we will be coming back."

My wife enjoyed the 7-layer Lasagna, while I opted for the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. Both dishes, accompanied by homemade bread, were by far the best Italian food we've ever tasted. We wholeheartedly extend our compliments to the chef! Our server, Deana, was exceptionally welcoming. If it were possible, I would give this place 10 stars!"

"I recently dined at Treadwell based on a friend 's recommendation, and while the anticipation was high due to the difficulty of securing a table, I must admit that I left somewhat underwhelmed. The restaurant itself boasts a charming ambiance, tucked away behind bustling shops, offering both a quaint patio for outdoor dining and an indoor space adorned with historic decor.The lunch menu, although limited, did have some promising options. I opted for a soup and sandwich combo. The sandwich was a flavorful delight, generously filled with condiments and vegetables. Unfortunately, the soup was a disappointment, with a strong vinegary taste that left much to be desired. It was promptly set aside after just one sip.My partner ordered the steak, which was well-cooked but fell short in terms of portion size. However, the real letdown at Treadwell was the customer service. Our server seemed disinterested and robotic in her approach. I couldn 't help but notice her friendliness towards another table of older patrons, going as far as clearing their crumbs after the main course. In a supposed 5-star establishment, I expected a higher level of service, including meticulous table settings, engaging explanations of dishes, and friendly interactions. Even the quality check was a hurried ok? before disappearing.Regrettably, I must conclude that Treadwell falls short of deserving its 5-star rating. It 's crucial for this restaurant to prioritize and enhance the overall customer experience to match its reputation."

"We had decided to go for a late dinner, but before 9 pm, and entered the restaurant as we usually do.We waited a few minutes as the restaurant was a little more quiet than we have usually seen. We finally had the floor manager, we believe, take us to a table and he told us that "someone will be right with you". We waited more than 12 minutes for a waitress to come see us after she had been to a table a few feet away from us, with her back turned completely towards us. I had also made eye contact with one or two other servers who quickly made their way to the kitchen area. Once we placed our order, our beer and delicious calamari were brought out for us to enjoy. As I am known to do, I will not "dip" my food into sauces served separately when sharing with someone. I used my fork to scoop out some sauce and moved it to my plate, tapping lightly on the plate to ensure that all the dip comes off my fork. Within a minute, the table that the server had visited earlier with her back to us, started tapping on the table, not one of them but most of them!.Yes, even though I am an "old Fart", according to these brilliant 20 somethings, I did notice their continuous repetitive tapping throughout our meal. The server came over to their table and I thought maybe she had said something to them but apparently not. They later did it a few more times. The meal was very good but the atmosphere was terrible. The server got the usual 20% tip because she did what was expected. When we were leaving, the table serenaded my wife and myself as we left, with a loud chorus of table drumming. If this is how the next generation deals with the older folks, I feel sorry for the future. I am also upset with the restaurant as they were paying too much attention to the younger crowd, but didn't say anything to them about their behaviour which was evident to more than just us.. We all pay the same amount for the food we eat. I have since sent an email to the restaurant and have waited 2 weeks for at least an acknowledgement but to this day have not even heard a "thank you for your comments" or "we will look into this". We even sent the bill #, server # and name so that they could use it as a training moment. We're not looking for anything other than the acknowledgement!"

"We had the 3 course prix fixe menu: I started with the pate; my wife had the seafood bisque, then salmon for me, duck confit for my wife, both had the bread pudding. The pate was delicious, but the seafood bisque was heavenly, and happily we switch off half way through so I could try it. Amazing. My salmon was perfect, a real delight, and the bread pudding was excellent all in all a perfect meal. The service is informal but attentive: this is not a stuffy place, but you do get taken care of. We always recommend Tide and Vine to friends, and this latest dinner reminded us why."

"I had a sushi burrito that was truly incredible. The menu is highly customizable, so I crafted a roll with crab meat, shrimp, cucumber, and various other ingredients. At first, the menu was a bit overwhelming, but with some guidance from a staff member who was absolutely amazing and incredibly friendly, I decided on my burrito and a milk crush. The food arrived promptly, and I settled down next to the window. The restaurant's layout and decor are quite comfortable as well. The milk crush was sweet and creamy, reminiscent of a milkshake but a little lighter. I’d give it a solid 4.5/5. As for that burrito, it was enormous, filling, and incredibly delicious—definitely a 5/5 all the way. Great food, excellent service—no complaints whatsoever. I can't wait to return and try the ramen!"

"RUDE AF manager or owner. I am writing my first ever negative review because of how awful the manager or owner just treated me lol Ordered a large chicken finger sub from door dash and laughed when I looked at how little soggy tiny pieces of chicken was on it and how soggy it was. It was ALL bread. We have ordered breakfast from them religiously every sat and Sunday morning for months until now because our sons like their waffles but I wouldnt order there again if my life depended on it. When I called to complain the little girl who usually takes the orders on the phone was the only friendly one who offered to remake my sub but I got in a car accident so I had ordered door dash so that wasn 't an option. I told her I would send a picture or they could send a driver (weekends and randomly they have a delivery driver) and come pick it up, I just wanted a credit towards my next order. So she gave me a manager who told me they cut up 2 chicken fingers for an entire sub, that 's the length of a subway sub so about a footlong. And said he didn 't know what to tell me and would not credit or refund me and said do you wanna talk to Ty? And handed the phone off to whoever that is who definitely let me know how annoyed he was to have to listen to me then he laughed that I wasn 't happy about my food and sarcastically said well what do u want me to do change the brand of chicken? Because we arent going to help you or remake anything so I had a few choice words and hung up. Rude as hellll. Funny the only nice, professional one is the youngest, probably least paid employee. I hope they don 't treat her how they treated me. Posting pic of the garbage they sent me that they think is acceptable lol"

When I reached out to Uber for help, they informed me that they couldn't assist and that the driver was unable to return. Since I was at work, I couldn't leave to resolve the situation. I then called Dirty Bird to explain that I had received the wrong order, but the person on the other end simply acknowledged the mistake and hung up on me. When I called back, he told me he had just arrived and could do nothing to help. The customer service was really disappointing; I even asked to speak with a manager, but they said there wasn’t one available. Overall, it was quite frustrating."
