"This is a lovely, tranquil spot that feels unpretentious and comfortable. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The service was excellent—warm and welcoming. We started with the onion rings as an appetizer, which were delightful. For my main course, I had the bluegill with a baked potato, and it was exceptional! The fish was perfectly crispy and tender. My fiancé ordered the catfish, also with a baked potato, and he enjoyed it thoroughly; he said it didn’t need any seasoning—it was fantastic as is. We even had the pleasure of meeting Karen, who was incredibly kind and helpful. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the decor is somewhat dated and they don't accept credit or debit cards. However, we will definitely be back for the great food and service."
