"Buyer beware everything has sugar in it, even things you don't expect. We went here for dinner and got tako salad, sashimi bi bim bap, two sushi rolls and pork bulgogi. The tako salad was first and I expected a little sweetness in the dressing but it wasso overwhelmingly sweet I had a hard time swallowing it. The tako also had a fishy aftertaste. Needless to say I didn't finishthat one. My husband didn't seem to mind it and didn't get a fishy aftertaste but my palate is more sensitive than his. The porkwas so sweet it was literally caramelized. The sushi rolls were also sweet so I didn't eat too much of that. I had a few piecesof plain sashimi from the bi bim bap and they were ok. When the waiter came by and asked how everything was I said I don't knowif it's just me, but everything tastes really sweet. He said the owner tells the chefs to put sugar in everything. I wasastonished. I will not be going back there any time soon because the sugar overwhelmed all the other flavors to the point whereit didn't even taste good ?? ETA regarding the low score for atmosphere: the music was really distracting. It was like theseweird obscure 80s power ballads and love songs I had never heard and all I kept thinking was what IS this music?? I've literallynever heard a restaurant, or anywhere else for that matter, play this kind of music before and there's probably a reason forthat"

"For their main courses, my dining companions chose the pistachio salmon ($27), a generous cut of salmon served over tortellini with pistachio pesto; chicken marsala ($24), which featured mushrooms, spinach, and gnocchi; and fettuccine alfredo ($22). All three dishes were declared “delicious,” and the portions were quite generous. I opted for the Italian plate, described on the menu as a combination of grilled chicken, Italian sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, eggplant, spaghetti, and cheese ravioli. Our server, Patrick, jokingly dared me to finish it all in one sitting, stating, “Very few people can.” When the dish arrived, I realized he was serious! The platter was heaped with large servings of all those mouthwatering items. At $25, the Italian plate was worth every penny. Although I enjoyed it immensely, I couldn't finish and took half home with me. The restaurant's atmosphere was warm and inviting, particularly with the fireplace glowing in the main dining area, and Patrick was a great server. My only concern was the noise level inside. It was difficult to hear my friends as conversations at nearby tables became quite loud and lively. As a result, we had to speak at a higher volume to communicate with each other. There was also music playing at a volume that may have been unnecessarily loud, which might have encouraged diners to raise their voices even more. I wonder if the Moretti staff would consider turning off the music to help reduce the overall noise level in the restaurant. I would love to return to Moretti’s for more of their outstanding food, but I would be hesitant to do so if the noise level remained high. I truly enjoy having conversations at dinner without needing to shout!"

"Were I rating this as a carry out, the food having been excellent, I’d be giving it a higher overall rating. BUT, the management of the front of the house will have to go a long way to become barely competent as purveyors of hospitality. We had made reservations thru Open Table, confirmed for On arrival, I told the server that we were the Davis Party, reserved thru Open Table. He said, “we have vacant tables, no reservation is needed.” I pointed out that we wanted to be recorded as having kept our reservation as we do save the award-points. Then he indicated, that, actually, Thai Basil (Upper Arlington) had not started up with OT (REALLY! how is it that they appeared on the OT App, with openings designated throughout the evening and that I had received confirmation from OT of my reservation We were struck by the...er...Spartan furnishings of the eatery. Alright for a pizza takeout, but not to the standards one has for a sit-down restaurant in Darkness outside, the dining area was grotesquely lit with available lighting short of lumens, at the blue end of the color range. The effect was, even for those of us having taken pains to appear human and healthy, everyone evoked a hue of the recently late; a little queasy-inducing. When the food had been served, the sweet potato pakora needed salt. Salt and pepper not being a feature at our table, I requested salt from the server. About ten minutes later, salt and pepper, in dipping dishes, was delivered with the comment, “We’ve been open for six weeks and no one ever needed salt and pepper before.” (For the second time, REALLY?"

"Despite the fact that reviews were all over the map for this place, it was convenient to the grocery store and we decided to try it. The food was okay; not great, with arge portions. The service was pleasant, but lousy. I ordered an Egg Roll as an appetizer, and my wife ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. I also ordered General Tso's Chicken and she ordered Green Bean Chicken. After a fairly long wait I figured that the apps would come out with the entrees, but I was mistaken. My Egg Roll came out, then two minutes later my entree came out. After about five minutes, my wife's appetizer came out. Five minutes later her entree came out. The Egg Roll was served without hot mustard (which is my primary reason for ordering Egg Rolls), and when I requested some, I was given a carry-out package of gelatinous, semi-sweet, yellowish goo. Fail. The Lettuce Wrap came with several large lettuce leaves, and a LARGE portion of nice, flavorful filling. It was a very sharable portion. The Green Bean Chicken was loaded with both beans and chicken. Very generous. The chicken seemed to be cooked in the same sauce as the Lettuce Wrap, without the added veggies. Tasty, but not a bit of difference from the appetizer. The General Tso's Chicken was fine... just fine... Not very crisp and not at all spicy. Both entrees came with a generous portion of Fried Rice. Conclusion: I wouldn't refuse to go back, but it will not be a destination. Three stars was generous. 2.5 would have been more accurate."
