"Avanti has expanded its outdoor dining to a very pretty wedding tent like arrangement in the parking lot white table cloths, chandeliers, candlelights. Their usual patio is also available. Best of all, they are serving all the regular items on the menu. Their prosciutto pizza is fabulous just right saltychewy prosciutto on every slice with melting bufalo mozzarella, green and red peppers, light tomato base and a sprinkle of goat cheese on top. Yum! My companion had the frutti di mare pasta that had lots of seafood in a white wine sauce. Also very flavorful. The basket of crispy flat bread and garlic topped rolls is always a winner. Highly recommended for really reasonably priced always tasty Italiancontinental dining. As with most restaurants during the lockdown, service isn't what it used to be because of staffing issues. But it's such a blessing to enjoy a semblance of normalcy with a soothing cocktail or glass of wine and an excellent meal"

Seating was easy and fast. The waiter took our drink order quickly and shortly afterwards our complete order.?Foods Arroyo Ahhhh and Tower The and hot. It was great. We had a difficult time getting our check, but otherwise I will definitely go back

Our first time at the restaurant. We got seated immediately. There was a slight delay in taking our food order. Food was hot and very tasty. One issue with the shrimp plate my daughter ordered. Shrimp was not devained. Our waitress was quick to offer another dish and placed the new order as '911 ' which was great. We will definitely return again. Visualizza piatti

I am saddened to hear that the owners of Avanti's are retiring and have sold the restaurant. It is unfortunate to see another longtime establishment in Pasadena go. I have been a fan of their food ever since they had their pizza cafe on Lake Avenue. I have great memories of celebrating a big birthday party there, where all the guests enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and menu. I wish Bobby and Mina all the best in their retirement and future travels.

Nice place! I hated the main dining area was closed due to COVID but the outdoor seating area was still very nice food was great service was good but we felt as tho they rushed us on everything from ordering to paying the tab there was also a very loud beyond obnoxious bday party that had no consideration for the other guest granted that’s not the restaurants fault but they maybe could have managed them better or cut them off sooner as they were very drunk all in all tho it was still a nice experience

"The seating is somewhat limited, both indoors and outdoors. The pizzas are 11 inches, slightly larger than the personal pizzas at Blaze Pizza. One pizza is definitely enough for just one person. I tried the Tikki Masala Pizza because I had never had one before, while my brother opted for the Margherita. He's more of a traditionalist when it comes to pizza and typically shies away from unique flavors. He shared a slice of his Margherita with me, and in return, I offered him a slice of mine. He really didn't enjoy my choice at all, while I found my pizza appealing due to its uniqueness. I did prefer his Margherita over mine, but was it the best I've ever had? Not at all—that honor goes to L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in Hollywood, which serves the best Margherita I've ever tasted. Sapori comes in as a close second for Margherita, as the sauce resembles that of L’Antica, but the crust doesn't quite measure up. L’Antica may be a bit pricier, but if you're after the best pizza, that's the place to go. Nevertheless, the pizza here is still very good. If you dine in, expect to wait about 12 minutes for your pizza, which is a decent turnaround. It’s impressive how quickly they prepare the pizzas, but be aware that they cool down quickly too. Your pizza might be cold by the time you finish it. Overall, the pizza here is great!"

"My first time here. Celebrating my brother’s retirement. The crabmeat cocktail impressed me the most. The drinks were super. So was the Zin I had with dinner. The service was very good but I would not say exceptional. I ordered the soufflé moments after I sat down as I read online one needs to do if this is the dessert you desire at the end of your meal. When that time came and I mentioned it to the waiter, it appeared he did not make a note of it or write it down and had a pained look on his face. That did not make me a happy camper. However, within 2 3 minutes, a marvelous soufflé was delivered to me. It was fantastic! My steak was done perfectly but it was definitely too salty. My brother also had his steak prepared the same way as mine and it was the same cut – but his was rare to be sure, and not medium rare. He’s more kickback than I am so he did not want to send it back. However, I don’t expect that to happen at a steakhouse of this caliber. Also, I had wanted to order their peppercorn sauce to go along with my steak. I forgot to mention it but I wished our server would’ve asked me if I wanted one of their many sauces to go along with my steak. That would’ve jarred my memory. Too bad he didn’t.The side dishes were fantastic, especially the creamed spinach. I will probably revisit again sometime soon. But there is a lot of competition in Pasadena for fine dining. Also, had to wait 15 minutes for the valet to park the car. That was definitely not a plus. And this was a Thursday night."

"Neddy, is very attentive of her restaurant and customers. It's a family owned business and I have seen all hands on deck myself. Her Husband and Older Son cook while her other children help out as well. Neddy herself loves to talk about her baked goods, which she is very proud of. If you like muffins, she's got muffins (flavors keep growing literally). The food is very delicious and I have no complaints whatsoever. The family is from Jalisco and Puebla. Really nice family and we did enjoy our time there. Thank you so much for being attentive of us. The atmosphere is very authentic to Mexico."

"Table prepared on time. Nice, friendly welcoming. Good service. Knowledgeable waiter. Barman listened and prepared my drink exactly to my taste. Good food. Nice presentation. The only “surprise “ was the fact that the restaurant doesn’t have fresh “ half and half “ for coffee. You have this 1/2 &1/2 in the little containers. Thank you."

"Small,quiet, Beautiful inside! I went for breakfast and had the pork chop they prepared it amazingly. I would have expected it to be more expensive for such a nice presentation. And it's only $3 more than waffle house but 3x better. $8 mimosas but they bring you the small bottle of champagne with the drink (8oz I think)! I'd highly recomend comming here on slower off hours dont know how busy it gets during prime hours but I'd call ahead as I'd assume it'd be packed( ~40 seats)"
