We stopped here for lunch. Hungarian goulash was pretty good. My wife had a Reuben sandwich and was disappointed one of the worst pastrami, very chewy.. .

Fish and chips were delicious, they were out of soup and salad was average. They had some local beers and the burgers that came out looked good. It's in a working boat yard so can be interesting to see the boat movers work.

A very tasty and fast lunch outside the hectic of the tourist homer. Embedded in a boatyard you will find good burgers, sandwiches and Saturday brunch specials. We had the Cheesesteak and Greenhorn Burger with Fritten. Both were well cooked, we recommend.

Four of us enjoyed different meals, and each one was fantastic. The halibut fish and chips were among the best I've ever tasted—lightly breaded and wonderfully flaky. There is no table service here; you place your order at the counter and pick up your food. It can get quite busy, but the staff seems to be working diligently to keep up with the demand. Indoor seating is quite limited, but there's a lovely outdoor deck with extra seating. I had a burger with fries, which was excellent, and I look forward to trying more items from the menu in the future.

I'm not sure if the locals want this gem to be found, but WOW!!! The halibut fish and chips were, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. In my life. I was born and raised in Alaska and have enjoyed fish and chips at some excellent spots around the world, particularly in New Zealand because of its British heritage, but the Boatyard truly impressed me. Every restaurant on the spit was packed. I opted for tacos because we had just come off a boat and I was starving, so it wasn't just hunger influencing my taste buds.
