The steaks are excellent. The building is somewhat dated, and parking is quite limited.

A neat concept, but lacked execution. The food was slightly above average. I will try again, but not with a party of 8.

A very cozy place, you can watch the chef cook while you eat. Charbroiled oysters are great! The steak is a favorite. I wish they would bring back the blackberry cobbler… Visualizza piatti

Food and drinks were pretty good. The place was not busy. Macy our waitress lacked customer service skills and was pretty much inattentive. Just my opinion as I’ve waited tables for years, and would have had to work hard to lack customer service skills on the level she displayed .

Hole in the wall on the road to Lafayette. Well worth the small detour. Reservations probably necessary. Staff was great, steering us away from the ribs and to the Crispy Duck, which was outstanding. This is not Cajun food, but steaks and seafood in a casual setting. The clientele is very prosperous, gathering from the ladies' handbags.

The dinner experience was satisfactory overall. Our waitress, Macy, was attentive and friendly. We were seated next to the grill behind a window, and I noticed flies buzzing around, which the cooks didn’t seem to address. I found that rather unappetizing and couldn't help but worry about the potential contamination of the food. Given the price we paid, I expected a higher standard. Very expensive establishment for the portion sizes and overall quality of food. Wasn 't super hungry and just wanted a side salad to snack on. Obviously it was a straight out of the bag/container baby spring mix that hadn 't been thoroughly washed and served with only a minute type of tomato and a marginal side of ranch dressing. Service was okay, but was quite frankly appalled at the attire a few of the service staff were wearing. Young lady looked like her black pants had been spray painted on. Not very fitting for a supposedly upscale restaurant which requires reservations in advance to dine. Not impressed, especially with the prices.

I ordered the beef tongue entrée with a side of rice dressing, opting for it over the smothered cabbage listed on the menu. My wife chose the fried fish platter and also ordered a dozen raw oysters on the half-shell. Everything we tried was of exceptional quality. The oysters were delicious, albeit slightly smaller than what we usually see. My beef tongue dish was the best I've ever tasted, served in a rich dark brown gravy that was truly remarkable. Upon entering, my partner and I were warmly greeted and seated by the hostess’. Jaden's knowledge of the menu was outstanding; she guided us through the options with ease, recommending their signature Crispy Duck and Scallops as standout entrées.
