"On my way to Dallas passing through Waco and I wanted something different.I pulled up and no one was there except me and i was scared that the food was not going to be great. My first time there and the cashier server was very friendly and nice. I never had oxtails so I ordered oxtail with rice and peas and it was so delicious for 17.99! I wanted more! My food was served to me within 5-10 minutes and the cashier server checked on me a couple times to make sure I was enjoying my food and he was so pleasant. I will most definitely come back and I hope that my next experience eating at a jamaican restaurant is just as great!"

"If you are looking for a place that feels like home stop by Papa Jack's BBQ. From the amazing BBQ to the warm service you are welcomed with familial love. It is so infectious it bleeds into the customer's interactions with one another. When we walked into the restaurant we were informed that the person in front of us had purchased the last of the brisket (a dish you have to try). I mentioned how sad I was at not having the chance to try it and Miss Sharon (the customer) asked to share a sandwich portion of her brisket.From that moment forward we were lavished with food and love. If you don't believe stop by and see for yourself.Kid-friendliness: At its core, this is a family restaurant run by a loving husband and wife and staffed by family. While we were there our waitress was playing with the most adorable children who we discovered were hers. Simply waiting for Mommy to get off work. To me, it is the definition of kid-friendly for staff and patrons."

The service was equally impressive, also earning a 5 for its attentiveness and friendliness. The atmosphere of the place was inviting and pleasant, deserving another 5. Overall, I had a fantastic experience, and with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person, it's a great value for such quality dining."

"typically I am happy to eat my family here. the waitress spilled my son and my mother in the law menu when she serves it. my and the enchiladas of my man were hardly warm. eating was not good as usual. the waitress stares us again and again and we're done that she didn't even come to look at us. it took 3 times to make our order right. and while we asked to go container, she went away while we tried to tell her how many we needed. this is on Tuesday 2/22/2022. we're here at 1630. she is the worst waitress of all time. oh and stood on our table and saw us eating in our crates as if she was gonna kick us out. there's only one other group here."

"This is the best fine dining in Waco without a doubt. The pear martini is amazing, ask for it spicy. The steak was really good, not flawless though it had a bit too much char and not enough salt but it was tender and topped with delicious seafood.. I should clarify that I am extremely picky about meat quality so I have a very high bar. The tomato blue cheese appetizer was the best thing I've eaten in the last month and I'm not typically a big fan of blue cheese. I did not like the flaming cheese thing it was a bit funky although pretty to watch it lit on fire. Scallops and shrimp were cooked very nicely, no complaints. The stuffed portabella mushroom sounded good but was difficult to cut and wasn't that crazy about the filling which was similar to a lasagna. Our server, who I think was also the bartender, was extremely nice and talented.. she really couldn't have been any better I don't think. I can't wait to go back and try some different dishes but you can bet i'll be ordering that blue cheese tomato appetizer again (not on the menu)"
