I ordered Swiss enchiladas, and while the rice and beans were fine, the sauce didn't taste as expected or it was simply terrible.

Amazing food but even more amazing service. I loved everything about this restaurant. They were so busy but managed everything well!

Decent Mexican food. Flavorful and served quickly. Would have liked to have lingered longer and enjoyed a cocktail but needed to turn and burn. 100 mile drive over the pass is not a good thing.

Excellent atmosphere, outstandingly friendly staff, and delicious food! I felt like a welcomed family member! My friends and I, who are enthusiasts of Mexican cuisine, just had lunch here and were impressed by the authenticity and service. A tip: don't miss the California Burrito at lunch! Cheers!

My wife and I eat at El Porton every month or two. In several years of eating here the food and service have always been good. Parking is close. Another thing I like is that there's no loud music so it's quiet enough to carry on a conversation at the table without a lot of background noise. I recommend it. Visualizza piatti

Great food! I had the mar y tierra and shrimp enchiladas, both of which were delicious and filling. The prices are very reasonable. It was really busy early on Sunday, but the turnover was quick. The staff were super friendly and fast, and even the boss was lending a hand. I noticed that they have many loyal customers. I would definitely come back in the future!

Service was insanely fast, almost to a point where I felt rushed to make a decision at this restaurant I'd never been to before. With the restaurant at about 1/4-1/3 capacity, I was a little caught off guard by this. Pollo Asado was good. Chicken was tender enough to cut with only a fork. Seasoning didn't punch, but it was present. Rice, beans, and guacamole were average. Chips, average. There was an effort made to elevate the salsa with a large amount of cilantro, which I do appreciate, but the salsa itself was a swing and miss.
