fontanel called me and canceled our reservation. they said they hadn't stopped at special events. we have not eaten there and will probably not try again.

Fontanel contacted me to cancel our reservation, stating that they do not accept reservations during special events. As a result, we didn’t end up dining there and likely won’t consider it again in the future.

Cancelled our reservations for 3pm at 10:30 am that morning, we were coming from out of state. Talked to front desk was told due to some special event, also less than a half full restaurant when we talked to them. we have tried to book this restaurant for dinner, but they said that this website should not be activated and the day of our reservation that they called and canceled. we were left to eat without a place and they said we could come and try open seating, but due to the event on the premises it would be about an hour waiting for us both. very poor customer service. they need to fix their marketing and reservations so that this does not happen again.

we have shown for our reservations that fontanel would not honor them. they claimed I had called to quit, but that was not true. we were there for a special event and time was a factor. the quality of eating and organization here are quickly down in the last 6 months. we've been here for two years and won't go back. as sad as it was at a time a great Italian restaurant. our server did her best to help us with this, as we finally got a table. I could add that bar offers and server turn around quickly so that another detail should add how the restaurant goes.

it was the glow halloween special and anyone who had reservations was told at the arrival that they did not honour reservations for special events. so we waited over an hour with our two little grandchildren together with many other customers for a table when 4 during 1 sat empty before us all the time. then to make it even worse than the dinning room emptied, they were not sitting again. it was 18 o'clock when we arrived there and they began to sit the outside deck instead. We had made reservations at Fontanel, but unfortunately, they did not honor them. They claimed to have canceled our reservation, which wasn’t true. We were there for a special occasion, and timing was crucial. Over the past six months, the quality of the food and overall organization have noticeably declined. We have been patrons of this restaurant for two years, but we will not be returning. It's disappointing because it used to be a fantastic Italian restaurant. On a positive note, our server did their best to assist us in finding a table. However, the bar service and staff turnover also seem to have quickened, which is another aspect that reflects how the restaurant is currently operating...

Upon arrival, we were informed of this and ended up waiting over an hour with our two young grandchildren, alongside many other customers, for a table. Meanwhile, we could see four empty tables in front of us the whole time. To make matters worse, once the dining room started to clear out, they still didn't seat anyone else. The night we were there they were definitely overwhelmed. We were attending The Glow and had made reservations to eat here before we walked over to view the pumpkins. It took nearly 30 minutes for our waitress to even take our order, and then it was hit or miss when she even returned! We had to get up and get our own silverware. We definitely were not the only ones that were having a problem with service, we saw multiple people up complaining to front desk. Our waitress could have done so much more to try make a bad situation better! They did end up taking half off our bill, and there was a wonderful lady who came around and tried to ease the situation.
