"I absolutely love dining at the Harbor Cafe whenever we drive up from New York to visit family. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. My personal favorite is the homemade meatloaf served with brown gravy and mashed potatoes, which I always top off with a delightful homemade dessert. The staff is friendly, and the view of the harbor is simply breathtaking. Overall, it's a perfect blend of great food and charming ambiance."

I went here in 2019 but want to leave a review absolutely wonderful and quaint and if I am ever in the area again I will be back. So beautiful and the service was great! Good family spot :

Always wonderful reviews! It's a perfect night for dinner. Unfortunately, we lost our propane stove line when a tree fell on it this morning, so we don't have a stove until it's repaired. We're heading over to the Harbor Cafe instead. Visualizza piatti

The charming town of Stonington is a major fishing town on Deer Island There is still a shortage of staff so many of the restaurants still closed. This restaurant staff worked hard and remained cheery though there were lines. Totally enjoyed fish and chips.

Every meal I've had there has been cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious! The portions are generous, and the chefs are outstanding. The waiting staff is very friendly and accommodating. If anyone has a complaint about their meal, they should feel free to politely send it back; the staff would be more than happy to replace it.

We recently dined here and were disappointed with our food. I had a French onion soup that was truly terrible, and the grilled cheese sandwich that accompanied it was rock hard and didn’t even come with the soup. We had a fantastic experience with both breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. The service was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. The portions were quite generous, too. Plus, it was just a short walk across the street from our hotel, Inn On The Harbor, which made it convenient not having to drive anywhere today. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

When I was finally seated, the waitress asked if I had a reservation. I confirmed that I did, but she informed me that they hadn’t saved a table for me. Additionally, another couple arrived after me. When they were asked whether they had a reservation and replied no, the waitress then inquired where they would like to sit. I was shocked by the inconsistency. Overall, it was a confusing experience.
