"Mahoney 's is a great place in this area for drinks and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is sort of like an elevated pub feel, with dim lighting and lots of hanging lights. We also loved the exposed brick. We came for a double date night and found that it was the perfect place for that. It wasn 't too busy, but just loud enough to allow us to laugh and chat without feeling like we would bug anyone. Service was good. The younger guy who served us was efficient and friendly. We got quite a few cocktails, all of which were strong but good. For an appetizer, we tried the Irish Nachos which weren 't great. They call them nachos but the potatoes were large, soft chunks similar to home fries, which left the entire dish far too soft. If potato chips had been used, it would have been at least a bit like a nacho, but these missed the mark. No crunch like you expect when you order any variation of a nacho dish. We also got a cup of the clam chowder, which was delicious. For entrees, we tried the Chicken Caesar Salad and the steak tips with truffle fries. The salad was perfect. Chicken was cooked nicely, the dressing was flavorful. Overall, just a really good Caesar salad. The steak tips weren 't as great. Ordered medium rare.. they came out well done. Overall, we would come back for the atmosphere but food and drinks were average."

"Truly a hidden is Stomping Grounds Grill in Buzzards Bay. My better half had been pestering me to go and because I'm so fussy and thought it was a sandwich place, I kept stalling. So often we are disappointed when we go out to eat. Boy, was I surprised! As an appetizer we split the little neck clams. For the main course I had the pasta with lobster and shrimp. He had the Mediterranean seafood stew. All 3 dishes were incredible! From our server to Chef owners Helene and Charles, everything was 5 stars."

"Local here, if you know Pocasset, you know there aren't a lot of take out options close by. I've ordered twice from Stir Crazy and loved everything the pork short ribs atop a spring salad with fruit is DIVINE. More recently I tried their sushi, the Shogun Roll, and that was also delicious. Consistency is really important to me and so far, they've given me top notch food again and again. Service: Take out"

"Stopped here on my mini-moon with my husband. The food was delicious! I got the seafood stew which was amazing. It had large pieces of lobster, whole shrimp and whole scallops. My husband got the fried scallop dinner which was also delicious. Only downside was we had our pup with us and she was not allowed on the patio. We ended up taking our food to the town beach which was actually more beautiful than the patio anyway! Would definitely come back again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Recommended dishes: Seafood Stew"

"Great little cafe restaurant, it is a bit small on the inside, but there is a large outdoor area well furnished and ideal for customers. There are free internet for people to do work on any laptop, and many wall sockets to plug in devices. The noise from the kitchen is not overlaid, which can be a problem for many small shops like this, and the food here is fantastic! I personally love the muffins here, some of the best I ever had, I would definitely recommend it to friends!"
