Good food, brisket was on point, sides were also great, nice variety of drinks on the menu plus specials drinks. Service was pretty good.

Went here for dinner and really enjoyed the meal. Very good and delicious clearly marked vegan bbq plate. The tofu was nice, although I would’ve went with the jackfruit option if the conference I attended had given me a lunch with protein

I would not have thought to check this place for a vegan option if it weren't for Happy Cow. They offer a nice vegan BBQ plate that comes with rice, greens, and either jackfruit or tofu. Crispy brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries are delicious vegan appetizers. Service was friendly.

The place was not too busy, which is expected on a Tuesday night. Sat at the bar and was helped by Alex, great customer service. Ordered the wings which were a great choice, they come with dry smoked jalapeños that are sweet and spicy at the same time, such brilliant idea. Ordered the Q platter to share, the brisket was the best part of the platter, totally recommend. Not sure how the service would equate to a really busy day, but on a slow day was great. 5 stars is NOT ENOUGH! Service, amazing. Food, amazing. Atmosphere, amazing. I mean, I had already died and gone to fat girl heaven and then we ordered dessert. The chocolate torte was VERY good, but Y 'ALL... White. Chocolate. Krispy. Kreme. Bread. Pudding!!?!?!!! Holy cow! I don 't know who thought of this, but I 'm probably going to spend some serious time attempting to recreate such a thing... and of course come back to have the correct version a few more times too!

Rode over from Greenville for an outing and enjoyed lunch at Initial Q. I chose pulled pork, that was tender and moist, piled high on a brioche bun, and served with fabulous coleslaw. It was a great choice. Served with with a side of Pepper Jack Grits. The presentation was perfect. All that aside, visiting downtown Spartanburg the first Saturday of the month, be prepared to hear the firehouse siren. Apparently it's tested on that day, at 1:00 pm. Absolutely amazing! My family and I stopped in from out of town for a few soccer friendlies. They greeted us with homemade pork rinds and a small assortment of homemade BBQ sauces and a list of their bases.Very unique starter and presentation. We then had two drinks one which was a sweet and spicy drink and a peachy mint one. Both were strong and refreshing. Not weak and boring. For dinner, we shared the IQ platter and it was delicious. Brisket, pork, sausage,burnt ends, mac, mash and brussel sprouts. Enjoyed every bit. The rolls and the pickled veggies that accompanies the platter were tasty.
