"I hesitated to write this review because in the middle of service apparently the chef went to the ER and the GM was forced to step up and cook. Unfortunately what came out of the kitchen was a disaster. The Poutine was cold and the cheese was unmelted. There was practically no gravy. My wife had the Short Rib grilled cheese sandwich which sounded great. It was not. Again the sandwich was cold and so were the duck fries. My guess is that our food sat on the line while they tried to recoup from their staff emergency. Given what we were told about the staff problem I might not have written this review at all but there’s more. Before we even ordered we were advised of the multiple unavailable menu items which made one stop and wonder. All the fish items were not available. The pear salad was unavailable and the table behind us had problems with their order too. Our server Jessie is the only reason I even gave this restaurant two stars. He did everything he could to remain positive under impossible circumstances. The outdoor seating is very pleasant and we wish we could have reported more positively. If you have something on your menu it should be available. Multiple unavailable items is just not acceptable. Don’t advertise what you can’t produce. . I’d call ahead if you’re considering a visit. We drove nearly two hours on our wedding anniversary and looked forward to a great experience. This was anything but that."
