"Been coming here for years. Always been the place for fried clams and lobster rolls. First time back since Joe sold the place. Ordered the fried clam dinner with the German potatoes. The quantity of clams and potatoes was less than half of what used to beserved for more money. The quality was way down also . The clams were soggy and had that sour taste that you get when the oilhasn't been changed in a while. The potatoes were still good. Won't be coming back here again!"

Very friendly staff and great environment. The lobster roll was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend and will visit again when I'm back in the area. Cash only so be aware of that before going.

This feels like a real old school pub but with friendly and attentive service. Good was excellent and all the prices were very fair and affordable. Drinks were honestly the most reasonably priced and very tasty.

After reading the reviews, I won't even try this place. I don't frequent CASH ONLY restaurants because I understand the implications of CASH ONLY! What sports, ATM inside, so you can fleece every last penny from your customers.

Such a great, authentically Boston dive. The best clam chowder I've ever had. Amazing lobster roll. Complimentary popcorn and a warm atmosphere. They take cash and check only do come prepared. There's an atm on site also. Will definitely be back!!!

Stopped in for a quick lunch while shopping, was very impressed. Atmosphere is cozy, waitress was friendly. Chicken parm was really good, lobster roll was stuffed and the Cole slaw was awesome. Also had a salad, the house made Italian dressing is the best I've ever had

What a fantastic, authentic dive in Boston! This place serves the best clam chowder I've ever tasted, and their lobster roll is incredible. We both ordered the Delmonico Steak, and it was absolutely delicious. I can definitely see why it has a star next to it! I don’t think I've ever enjoyed a meal like that for just $15—thank you! Although we didn’t have any drinks, I noticed the alcohol prices were the lowest I've seen at a restaurant in this area. I can’t wait to come back for a date night with my fiancé!

The service is very good but, sad to say that I?ve been coming to this restaurant for 30 years and their lobster meals have taken a big dive. Higher cost, less lobster and the quality of the lobster has severely gone down hill. I hope that theownership has figured out the the customer base has shrunk due to some bad choices. You can?t blame Covid for this. I hope thishelps the ownership rethink the bottom line.
