I'm quite the steak (and meat) lover so was looking forward to this resto recommended by several friends.

Good drinks and great meatMy husband and I got reservations ahead of time but probably didn't need them for 5PM on a Friday.

Well hidden from the road, we feel like we're going to a secret garden. The chef's cuisine is generous and greedy, nothing but to hear that the risotto recipe under the lobster with the girolles (deals to damn it) comes from the grandmother.

Lunch at this small pearl, you need google maps to get there! Good Q/P and a fine lunch and a nice winelist.That day only 4 guest, the chef likes music while he works, Led Zeppelin and so on , but food is good.Seek it out if toy are in the area.

...to be in the southern part of France.Because the service feels genuine. Because the food holds generally high quality (I think they got a new chef), and because the outside "patio" is a wonderful place to enjoy a nice time with family or friends. Where to start. We spent a moment out of time! from the welcome to the end it was perfect, the whole team was very professional, thanks to the waiter to the white shirt (with the origins of the meeting, sorry I don't know his name) for his kindness! And of course, the chef for his kitchen! I recommend without hesitation this establishment and which deserves its place to the michelin guide with its cuisine with extraordinary flavors.

It isn't really necessary to add anything over and above the title to this review. Hands down the most superb gastronomy we have had in the region over many years. The menu and quality of cuisine sits head and shoulders above all else in the vicinity and would grace the table of ANY restaurant ANYWHERE in the world. Knowledgable and friendly staff, including the chef, also rightly share their enthusiasm for the quality of dining and the standard of ingredients used. A full evening of devine food that we will remember for a long time.

We had dinner at Le Carré d’Ange on a Tuesday evening, end of September (i.e. very few tourists in the region). We kicked off with a nice glass of bubbles, and then went for the 3 courses meal: “fois gras” “Homard”, followed by “turbot” fish (both...of us), and as dessert the chocolate tarte tatin. To “flush” this super food down, we went for an excellent Pouilly fumeé (half bottle). The food dishes were nicely presented (very nice person who served our food), and in-between, there were several small bites. The price was correct for this high level restaurant.
