"The service and atmosphere was good. Drinks were fine as well. However, I was not impressed with the food at all. I 'm not sure if we came at a bad time (it was a bit empty when we got there but did fill up as we were leaving since I guess that was when the live music was starting) or if we ordered things that are not the best to order but the food was below average. The brisket was fine but was a little dry. Brisket was not really the issue with our meal. We also ordered the smoked turkey and it was terribly dry. the middle part (away from the skin/edge) was passable but that was it. just dry and the outer parts were inedible. What was even worse was the qtr dark meat chicken. it was basically completely dried out and had a funky smell (NOT smoke) coming from it. we didn 't eat that at all. it seemed like these were just sitting under a heat lamp all day. the service was quick and professional but we were very disappointed with the food quality. It was a shame since there were so many good reviews and the photos look much better than what we were served. Maybe I 'll give them another chance some day but not in any rush.Parking: the parking lot is shared with a few other stores in the shopping are plus there is a wawa right next door (wawa has its own parking). there were a few parking spots available when I went but I can see the parking lot get busy during peak hrs"

I had the combo with brisket and turkey. And ordered a quarter dark chicken. My side was the collard greens and to drink I had the recommended whiskey punch. Everything was delicious! So much so I went back later that week.Food: 5/5

Lunch the restaurant was completely empty at noon on a Friday. Ordered ribs with a side of brussel sprouts. The side was unseasoned and delivered cold. That side was replaced with Mac and cheese which was buttered macaroni.The server was pleasant. Sweet tea was good.

I don't understand why this restaurant has 5 stars. The food was terrible. It had no flavor and no seasoning. We ended up taking it home, grilling it, seasoning it ourselves, and adding real BBQ sauce. The service was good, but that's the only positive thing I can say. Robbie is easily one of the best chefs in the state and this place is perfect. Nothing he feeds you will ever disappoint. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the drinks are to die for, plus, what a great atmosphere. Even if the FRESH MADE DAILY bbq is sold out, the bar has the most lovely and interesting cocktails and a limited menu so you can still sit and enjoy something. Oh. And banana pudding. Highly recommend.

My partner and I were on our way to Wawa to grab a quick meal and decided to try this restaurant instead since we always noticed it when driving by. It was hands down the best BBQ we have ever tasted. My girlfriend, who is from BBQ country (Memphis), even said "This is amazing". I ordered brisket and pork ribs with potato salad, while she had the smoked chicken salad sandwich with mac n cheese. The house-made pickles were delicious as well, although we noticed they had a unique twist with honeydew melon in the mix.
