Los Patrones - Piatti

Los Patrones 2 is a great restaurant. It is better than it's Kilmarnock VA counterpart. The food is to die for and the staff is great. I will revisit many times.

even though we enjoyed our eating, the waiting period was ridiculous. we were told our pick-up order would be ready in 15 minutes if we wait 45 minutes. we weren't explained why they're picking us up a few dollars from our bill. However, we would have liked to wait the 15 minutes more than save couples!

They got our order wrong twice, and when we finally received our food the third time, it was cold and soggy. The expensive tacos I ordered didn’t even come with sour cream or tomato; they only had cheese and lettuce. I'm very disappointed and won't be returning. this place is the absolute worst thing I have tried to eat 3 times now without luck, the first time that they decided to close early the second time I tried to call forward to pick up an order for pickup, but their phone just goes too busy my third and last try to go in the house door and they stand there for 15 minutes and nobody ever comes out of the way.

Skip this restaurant and just go to the one in Kilmarnock. Disgusting service. 1 week ago I would have left a 5 star review. There was ONE waiter. ONE. During the rush he killed it and I wish I would have gotten his name. He got a great tip because he earned every bit of it. He was no where in sight at dinner. Tonight was so disappointing. The staff was argumentative and defensive when we told them about the food and drinks that were done wrong and made badly.. Why stop at Los Patrones 2 when you can drive a little further to #1...

We live in West Virginia and visited this restaurant while on a job. As a Latina familiar with Central American and Mexican cuisine, I can confidently say that the food here is fantastic. We've dined at several pricey Mexican restaurants, but none come close to the incredible flavors found in this little spot, which is run by an Indian family. I was very pleased with both our meals and drinks. The owner works diligently, especially since many people are unwilling to work these days. During our vacation in Heathsville, VA, I wasn't expecting much from this restaurant based on its exterior. However, the food turned out to be fantastic. The salsa and queso were delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meals, which had generous portion sizes. Inside, there are around 10-15 tables, and the decor is quite old and outdated, but the service was impressively fast. Our waiter seemed to be handling everything on his own, yet we never had to wait for anything – he was the most efficient server I've encountered (I didn't catch his name, unfortunately). I would definitely return if I'm in the area again.

I told myself once before that I wouldn't return to this establishment. Another subpar service experience and I am positive to NOT return.When my family and I were initially seated, I noticed a draft was coming from a crack in the wall. We asked to be seated somewhere else. The server politely obliged. However, when I pointed why we wanted to be seated somewhere else, the waiter attempted to not acknowledge what I was saying.
