Lovely indoor/outdoor Cafe in Ft Myers. Good food. Service was great.

If you love quiche this is the place to go. Even if you arrive for lunch ask if they have their quiche which is different every week. This is a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Their staff is attentive and have great suggestions. Visualizza piatti

We previously only enjoyed breakfast here. We heard about the new chef and gave it a try for dinner. We had an outstanding meal all around. We shared the Ricotta Gnudi appetizer; it was heavenly! I had the fettuccine with roasted cauliflower my husband had the monkfish with green lentils. All very well prepared delicious! Our server, Rebecca, was delightful and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening in a casual quiet atmosphere! Can’t wait to return.

This was our third visit to McGregor Café and we were not disappointed. Food choices and preparation were outstanding. All the items from the pate appetizer to the delicately cooked gnocchi and perfectly spiced étouffée were done perfectly. Very enjoyable atmosphere outside. Live entertainment on Saturday nights also recommended. Minor hitch when our waitress forgot a second round of wine. Also recommend their Sunday breakfast which is also very good, lots of wonderful choices including quiche specials.

I had read glowing reviews and restaurant did not disappoint. Met friends and loved the ricotta gnudi and crab cakes but the risotto balls stole the show (I could have drank the tomato sauce Entrees of pork chop, steak, monk fish and grouper were all outstanding. Our server, Danielle was extraordinary in the true sense of the word, going the extra mile and not making us feel guilty for taking our time to relish all of our delectables. My picky eater brother looked at the menu prior to arriving. He saw that Caesar salads were available with every meal so he figured the chef could make an entree size salad as his main course. He was also hoping for the truffle fries which are on the lunch menu. Waitress unwilling to make accommodations. She advised they couldn’t make a Caesar salad for him. So all of us picked Caesar salad as our side so my brother could eat what he wanted. Food was fine. Not as good as I was expecting based on most of the reviews. Calamari bland but the gnudi was unique and enjoyable. The cauliflower sure gratin was fabulous. Monkfish was not as good as I was hoping because the piece of fish was tough. L...

He noticed that Caesar salads were an option with every meal, so he thought he could request an entree-sized salad as his main course.
