This restaurant offers a casual and easygoing dining experience. The soft lighting sets a soothing mood. My server was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I ordered Kimchi Fried Rice with chicken and egg, along with some fries and shrimp tempura. Everything was absolutely delicious!

I had an excellent experience at this budget-friendly Korean restaurant. I visited twice and saw that they had expanded their menu since my previous trip. The waitstaff were very friendly, and the food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The interior has a cozy atmosphere that I truly enjoyed. Even though the space is small, it’s a wonderful place for dining out.

We dined here for the first time tonight and were blown away by the beautiful atmosphere. The music was pleasant and soothing, enhancing our overall experience, which was fantastic. We tried the chicken dumplings, Hot Stone Bibimbap, and the marinated short rib dinner box, and everything was absolutely delicious. Tina and the rest of the staff delivered exceptional service. Bulgogi Steak Sandwich and Crispy Kimchi Fries—it's like taking an express train to heaven! I really enjoy a great Philly Cheesesteak, but I must say, the Korean version is unmatched. I was truly amazed by the incredible flavor and juiciness of the Bulgogi Philly, along with the perfectly toasted bread. It came with optional Kimchi Fries that were incredibly crispy—I've never encountered this combination before. I will definitely be back soon!

I frequently find myself fantasizing about the kimchi fries from Mokja, and if I lived nearby, I would undoubtedly be a regular customer. Although I've tried a few other dishes on their menu, the kimchi fries truly steal the show. They’re generous with the kimchi—something not every place can claim—making each bite incredibly flavorful. The fries are delightfully crispy, and the gochujang aioli perfectly complements the dish. I could eat these fries every day, and you should definitely give them a try too!

I live nearby and have enjoyed Mokja several times, but this was my first time dining in. I visited in the early evening when the restaurant was moderately busy. We were seated right away, and from then on, everything went smoothly. We ordered some delicious food, enjoyed every bite, and left feeling satisfied. Our server was great—just the right balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. I will definitely return for another dining experience. Honestly, I found the food to taste even better when dining in. I’m not sure why; maybe it's the temperature.

I ordered their Mandoo (Fritten Pignödel), Kimchi Fritten, and army stew (kimchi seasoned broth with ramen and an assortment of vegetables and spam). the mandoo came fresh and tasted pretty good. I usually prefer a slightly thinner dump skin fried crispy, but the meat/filling was good. I didn't care too much for the Kimchi riders. the kimchi as a stand alone is phenomenal. but together, it was just regular pumice sprayed with kimchi. the army stew was very tasteful and came out of piping hot. the taste of broth was a slightly spicy Kimchi flavor with hints of sausage/span. Overall, the court is perfect, as especially on a cold winter day.
