"Every holiday we come back to Illinois we make it a point to indulge in breakfast/brunch at Mother's. Our favorite items: potato pancakes, cinnamon roll french toast, grilled chicken avocado eggs benedict. However everything on our table was excellent and portion sizes so large you can barely eat half of what you are served! Service — fast and proficient. Very glad this great restaurant has stood the test of time-not easy to do in today's day!"

Solid place with a wide menu selection and generous portions. A little like being in a grandma's house with the decorations and displays.

Great place for breakfast! Food is always consistent. Great service. Still great! Service today was not the usual. Mo was our server and she just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She even asked us to close the tab ” so I can get out of this place”

4 adults a 8 year old who ate Mac n cheese and soup 6 year old who only ate 2 scrambled eggs anther 6 year old who only ate soup and Mac and cheese then the waitress charges us gratuity… I WILL NOT BE BACK!!! When I brought up the concern they told me they could do that because it was anything more then 7 people.
