Been going here for lunch for years, but lately the portion size have been getting smaller prices going up and food is getting saltier

The food was fresh and the portion size was generous—definitely enough to serve two people. I ordered the honey garlic chicken and asked for it to be spiced up. The egg rolls, however, were just a 6 out of 10 for me.

For the price, this charming little restaurant offers great value for your money. I usually go for the teriyaki chicken with rice, and the portion is so generous that I always have leftovers for the next day. The restaurant may be located in an older building, but the service is friendly and efficient.

I absolutely love their food! They did a renovation this year, and it looks fantastic! The dishes are consistently delicious, and I've never had any complaints. The portion sizes are generous as well! I ordered the katsu combo with chicken, which was wonderful, along with some gyoza on the side. My friend went with the short ribs and chicken, and they enjoyed it too!

I got some of the worst food poisoning from here after ordering a tofu yakisoba. I can only suspect meat is improperly stored or vegetables came in contact with bacterial meat juice. As a vegetarian this was a horrible experience and I was sick and puking and using the toilet for 3 days. I reached out over uber eats and Mikou did nothing to acknowledge the situation. I loved this place! Though after not being able to order my favorites through any delivery service I called the restaurant to inquire. The person told me they only offer some things online now. You have to be in restaurant for most things. I then ordered and went to pick up my order in person. While there, the worker informed me they no longer send the side salad along with online orders either. Bad decision!Will not be ordering again unless I happen to be driving by. Which doesn't happen often.

Two meals... One the Spicy chicken, which ranked a 'stellar ' from our very experienced teriyaki dinner. He says it 's great, but needs the hot oil to make the bell ring! The second diner chose the Mushroom chicken. Lots 'n lots of sauted onions with large pieces cut up mushrooms and chicken. Diner had to peck around a bit for the chicken but the number of chunky were large and tasty. This diner struggles a bit with onion, so down a few points for high onion content. In and back out with carryout meals in under 15! Looks like a new crew in there, but the same great food and friendly atmosphere! Stop in and give these folks a try!

It seems that Google Maps is prompting me to review Mikou Teriyaki because it finally understands that I’m not at the Jack in the Box just north of it. I'm actually in the Riverview neighborhood, across the river and up the hill, but Maps often mistakenly places me in Georgetown. I was about to click the "I didn't visit" button, but then I remembered that I have been there, just not recently—it's been almost a year since my last visit. In any case, the food has always been fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and the customer service is outstanding.
