Dinner and service was great. Got there just after 5pm and they got us in right away. Finished with plenty of time to get to our play at 7pm.

Took forever to place menu. Took forever to get appetizers. Dinner was served at 7:30. We had an 8:00 show 7 blocks away. Unacceptable. Ate in 5 minutes and ran.

Quite good food, excellent service. I usually don't go to places that would be called upscale, but given the nature of the restaurant the portion size is acceptable, though I prefer it be larger. Went over to Oceana for lunch. Made no reservation, but was able to be seated in the “cafe” area at a high top, which was perfect. Had a light lovely lunch. The celery root soup with several yummy clams in the broth for a punch of ocean flavor, and the smoked salmon salad. Pre theatre dinner was perfect. We are tourists and I selected Oceana based on reviews and location. The seafood choices are plentiful. What is truly appreciated was the 4 choices of white fish. One in our party cannot have shellfish or salmon. Having 4 white seafood choices is wonderful. Salads and sides were also perfect. While it is more fine dining, it was not outrageously priced.
