Very enjoyable experience. The food was tasty and music entertaining which varied from blues and rock to country and folk. The waitress/bartender (Kylie) was attentive and hard working. Would eat here again next time in Alpine.

The dining experience was awful. The appetizers were served with stale chips and toppings that were cold. The rice was almost burnt and the burgers were greasy and overcooked. There is no deception in the merchandise, the Old Gringo is in its own juice and the smell of fat is part of the experience. That being said, the server was very friendly and the food was very good (I recommend the super Stupid Nachos). If you want to eat Tex Mex (more Tex as they say) the Old Gringo is a good place.
