"Had hibachi dinner here tonight and we couldn’t have been more disappointed in the food. We had a fantastic server hibachi cook but the food was completely tasteless idk what happened! Started off with soft shell crab and the crab tasted like oil with a funky taste. The last few times I ordered this I could’ve sworn the dipping sauce came on top of the crab but it was very tasteless. The fried rice, noodles, meat, scallops and veggies all lacked flavor..no salt,pepper, garlic, VERY little soy. If you’re getting a combination dinner and get 8/9 little pieces of filet while everyone else had full portions even the other couple next to us got combo dinners that’s not right. For the money they charge this is really disappointing and I don’t think I’ll be returning. Before dinner tonight we had a few take out orders (sushi) that also missed the mark."

I had a much better value lunch at Ooka. I ordered the Sushi/Sashimi combo for $16, which came with miso soup and a salad. The fish was excellent and very fresh.

Incredible food! The Purple Rolls might just be the best thing I've ever tasted. Each roll is like a beautifully crafted dish, just in a smaller form. I visited for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was great, and they put on a really impressive show. The food was outstanding. For the service, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere also deserves a 5, and the food was a solid 4. I would highly recommend trying the sushi. For dinner, the price per person was around $50 to $100.

Been here a bunch a times always had a great experience until last night. Made reservations in advance. Party checked in and had to wait 40 mins to be seated. Host brought us free appetizers for the wait which was very appreciated. Our waiter spoke no English never took drink orders from us. Party drank water. The hibachi was great and atmosphere was great but the attention /Communication from our server was non-existent. Would be willing to try again.

"This could be a gem of a place but the night we dined, they were short on waitstaff , the food took a long time to get to our table and then seemed overdone. Unfortunately, it was too cold, otherwise, this looks like the perfect place for sitting outside on the patio with a view of the river, open air and energetic city vibes."

"I’ve visited The Hattery numerous times and I've realized I've been taking this hidden gem for granted. My husband and I truly love this place. While it’s easy to rave about the unique and whimsical decor, I want to first highlight the menu—it’s creative and consistently satisfying. There's almost always something new to try, and although we often stick to our favorites, we always sample the latest dishes because we know they’ll be delicious. The staff is fantastic; they genuinely seem to enjoy their work, which contributes to the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Another delightful feature? You can enjoy an ice-cold breakfast beer in the park at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays after a lovely walk. Finally, although the prices reflect current inflation, The Hattery remains more affordable than many other local options. It's a great choice!"

"This was my first order from this restaurant. The order was for Szechuan Beef , Edamame, S1. Hot Sour Soup and S3. Wonton Soup and A2. Spring Roll (2) Although I have my favorite, Doylestown, Chinese restaurant, I wanted to try a place new. All of the portions from KF were in ordinately small by comparison to other Chinese restaurants. The food was good, but nothing special. My biggest issue was that the beef was so hot-spicy, it was almost inedible. So glad the rice was there to eased the spiciness. That being said, I was only able to eat a few bites. And I enjoy hot, spicy foods. The other items were OK, but not worth the What it confirms is that I still order from the best dTown Chinese restaurant!"

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I didn't enjoy my first visit several months ago, but decided to give it another chance. The waitress didn't write down our order, which usually leads to mistakes, and sure enough, our order was wrong. The cosmos we ordered were terrible. The waitress did apologize and brought us different drinks, but they were also undrinkable. The Sauvignon Blanc wine was very acidic, indicating it was probably too old. My friend's mixed drink didn't taste right either. The food was decent at best. I won't be coming back to this restaurant, which is unfortunate as I now live in Doylestown."
