I always order the liver special and it was DELICIOUS ?. The only bad thing I can say is, when they are busy and your trying to order over the phone. They never come back to the phone to place your order.

BEST fried chicken in the area, lightest breading, moistest, tastiest and freshest, bar none. Good selection of homemade sides desserts. Fast friendly service. Cost affordable. Multiple locations, consistent quality.

The chicken was great and the sides provided for a well rounded diverse flavor offering. The puffs you get for the biscuit offering were not exactly to my taste as I prefer a firmer biscuit, however those I were with couldn't get enough of them.

Pollard's has very good chicken but my favorite are the liver and gizzards. My only complaint is they have stopped using the styrofoam carry-out containers and have started using flimsy boxes that don't hold up to the heat of the food. They really need to go back to the styrofoam.
