Been a while but I'm back to my favorite Italian on Long Island. The drive is 45 miles from my house but worth the effort. This sprawling Italian joint is modern, vibrant, energetic and oh yeah, the entire menu is off the chain. I love everything about this place. Keep doing what you're doing.

I recently had dinner at Ragazzi in Nesconset and it was a fantastic experience! The food and service were excellent. Our waitress, Anna, did a wonderful job taking care of us. The maitre d', Michael, was very friendly and checked on us twice to ensure everything was okay, making us feel like old friends. Holy wow I think I'm in love. Came in based on reviews and they did not disappoint. I got their mule and it was *chefs kiss* perfection. Plus I love fruit in cocktails as a little snack. Just enough ginger beer. Perfect. I got the rigatoni vodka and woah it was amazing. Tasty and next time I'll have to see if I can get grilled asparagus with it. Husband got their salmon dish based off of the server's suggestion and he loved it. And he's picky with his salmon. Extra points to Adam (our server and Mike (I assume the GM? for going above and beyond. We leave in 3 days but are rearranging our plans to stop here again.

What can I say? I've been past this place a million times and have never been in until some friends wanted to go. It is nice inside. They have a bar, different levels of seating, and they had the lighting was low. There was a party of about 10 in the area we sat and there were still about 6 tables for 4 in the area so seating is not an issue. They take reservations which is nice but the thing that really impressed me was the amount of gluten free options they offer! They make a number of the items on their menu gluten free, including multiple desert options. That paired with the wonderful service from the servers and the managers this place is a must!

We called the restaurant while on the road to see if they could accommodate 2 people. They were very nice and accommodating, letting us choose to sit outside on a beautiful night with great ambiance. The hostesses were friendly and seated us right away. The service was fantastic, with water immediately brought to our table along with a delicious assortment of bread. Our server, Jose, was polite, nice, and helpful in making recommendations. We took his advice and were happy with our choice. The manager, Michael, checked in on us and we praised the staff and the delicious food. I kept hearing great things about this place so I finally went and I am glad I checked it out! They start you off with an amazing bread basket. The garlic knots and focaccia were outstanding. We got the mozz in carrozza appetizer which was essentially large mozz stick wedges. They were awesome. My husband got the shrimp francese (he said it was good) and I asked for them to make me gnocchi with red sauce and melted mozz and boy was I happy when they brought me the biggest plate of gnocchi I have ever seen. This was my first time here for lunch at this lovely Italian restaurant. My first impression walking in was that the restaurant was extremely dark .i had to use my phones light to read the menu . Other than that everything else was very nice . Everyone was very welcoming , professional and attentive . We were immediately seated and brought the wine and lunch menu. We ordered some drinks and took our time and wasn't at all rushed . I ordered the tortellini vegetable soup and a Parmesan chicken panini , which came with a side salad . 2.5 rounded up because I 'm feeling generous. We had a 545 reservation, we were five minutes late so we checked in at 550, we also apologized for being a bit late, we were then told to sit and wait, that 's fine. About 7 couples/groups came in after us and were immediately taken to a table since they knew the owner. My boyfriend and I got our 545 table at 625.
