"RED LOBSTER!!! Loved it great atmosphere, food, and service. I got tired of catering uncle BooBoo his usual Friday night Golden Corral so I told him we were going to red lobster. The only thing that got him in the door was that I told him there was actual giant red lobsters. As we checked in uncle was taking a look at those lobsters and decided he wanted more than a look… lucky for me the manager was right there and asked him to quit sticking his hand in the water. We got seated instantly which was nice. Uncle said he had to go wash his hands from petting the lobsters but I stayed at the booth… that’s when it all began. I felt a cool breeze blowing on me behind me. I figured the AC must have kicked on but no. Uncle came back and informed me a weird man with a mustache was hiding behind the fake plant behind me. I turned and there he was. I about screamed. Uncle found it amusing but I did not. The man then ran off into the bathroom, when uncle ran off and dragged him out of there. Uncle and the man talked all night long, uncle said it was his life long friend. Right as our food came out the man decided to take a shrimp piece from uncles plate… that was a mistake for that guy. Uncle punched and kicked him and told him they would never speak again. A crowd started to form and my embarrassment grew. I pulled uncle out of the restaurant and we just left. It was a long night, but we will be back!"

Our waitress Delane was fantastic; she had a great personality and provided excellent service overall!

First visit in a long time . I had a filet (just right medium rare) and lobster (rather small) My girlfriend had a trout (very nice portion) The waitress was very pleasant. A nice dinner but a bit pricey.

I've been disappointed in Red Lobsters quality of food for years, but I ate at the Abilene Red lobster today and let me tell you what. It was amazing! Just as good as they used to be! Service was perfect, food was perfect, we'll definitely be back.

Definitely has gone way down hill. Food has no tast and the restaurant is filthy. We sat in a booth and about halfway through the meal I notices food on the back of the seat. It had been there a while too. They try to pass as a high end restaurant and charge for the experience . The expensive lobster tails are tiny. I 've seen shrimp that were bigger. This place sucks! We loved the soothing atmosphere. It was so calming after a doctor’s visit. Our waitress/bartender was delightful with a beautiful smile for everyone and she constantly checked to see if we needed anything. It is unusual for a waitress to be that attentive to 3 women, and we appreciated it so much. The drinks were pretty and soooo good. The food was so delicious that I don’t have words for it. Between the wonderful food, our fabulous waitress, and the atmosphere, we had a fantastic experience.

It has been a while since I actually enjoyed a seafood place with my kids. The service was beyond superb, the food was perfect all around, the seating was very comfortable for my party of 7, the whole environment and our server was always happy and kept us in a great mood. Ironically we were there to honor our late mother's birthday since she past away a month before her birthday, and our server had the same name as our mom. That set the mood in a special way for us and everything else was an added bonus. I would recommend this place a thousand fold.

It’s been a long time since I truly enjoyed a seafood restaurant with my children. The service was outstanding, and the food was excellent across the board. The seating was very comfortable for our party of seven, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server was always cheerful, which kept our spirits high. Coincidentally, we were there to celebrate what would have been our mother’s birthday, as she passed away just a month before. To make it even more special, our server shared the same name as our mother, which added a unique touch to the occasion. Everything else was just a wonderful bonus. I would highly recommend this place! Visualizza piatti

It’s sad how far this Red Lobster has fallen. We visited Red Lobster for dinner and were let down right off the bat. We waited for a long time to be greeted at the front. We finally were seated. Our server was pretty much absent most of our meal. We ordered water and tea nothing complicated and it took a bit to receive our drinks. Much later the cheddar biscuits came along. There would be no refills on those tonight. We ordered a NY Strip with Brussels Sprouts and Coconut Shrimp, clams, and Bacon Wrapped Scallops with Mac and Cheese and my sister had mashed potatoes. Now the wait here was so long we were all mad and ready to leave at this point. The meals except for the steak were bland. We...

Once we checked in, Uncle BooBoo glanced at the lobsters and decided he wanted more than just a look. Fortunately, the manager was there and encouraged him to dip his hand in the water. We were seated immediately, which was nice. Uncle said he had to go wash his hands after handling the lobsters, but I stopped him; everything was about to start. Then, I felt a cool breeze and thought the AC was kicking in, but it turns out Uncle had returned to inform me there was a strange man with a mustache lurking behind the fake plant next to us. I turned around and he was right there—I nearly screamed! Uncle found it funny, but I was startled. The man bolted to the bathroom, and Uncle, being the soci...

"For our appetizer, we chose the calamari, which was excellent. I noticed in other reviews that they provide a generous portion of marinara sauce, and I can confirm that. I'd much rather have too much than not enough! We typically order a couple of dishes to share, so we picked the redfish and a fried sampler platter. The fried shrimp was the best I've had in a long time, and the catfish was just to my liking. I prefer thinner fillets, as thicker ones can taste too "catfishy" for my palate. My dish came with fries, but I opted to add red beans and rice just to try them, and I was not disappointed. They use more tomato in their recipe than I'm accustomed to, but that gave it a wonderful flavor that I’ll definitely try to replicate at home. The other dish we ordered was the redfish topped with gumbo and crawfish tails, which had the perfect texture and flavor—I could eat it every day! We were too full for dessert, and we didn’t order drinks from the bar, but we appreciated that they serve filtered water. (It's surprising how many restaurants in Abilene skip this simple but significant detail.) Everyone at the restaurant was friendly. Our server was attentive and quick to clear away dirty dishes, which I really appreciated. The other servers in nearby sections were just as attentive and welcoming. When we arrived, there was a wait; they quoted us 20-25 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 10. Perhaps they gave us a longer estimate just in case, or maybe the large group that left in a huff cleared out the waiting area. Regardless, we didn’t mind waiting, especially after enjoying such a fantastic meal. The group that left included a man who was quite large and was yelling at the host while getting physical, which was uncalled for. His wife was egging him on. The manager handled the situation with remarkable politeness, even though the man was behaving like a petulant child. I believe in treating everyone with respect, and it's simply unacceptable for someone to intimidate another person, especially a woman half their size. The staff repeatedly apologized for the disturbance, which was unnecessary; they managed the situation with professionalism even though the rude guest didn’t deserve any courtesy. Thankfully, he eventually left, and everyone in the lobby applauded. We then went on to enjoy a lovely meal."

"I visited for the first time and entered through the back door near the parallel parking area, which left me a bit confused about where to place my order. Eventually, I made my way to the front where I found the register and the menu. My daughter was uncertain about what she wanted; the cashier was very patient with her. She initially wanted a bagel, but they were out, so she opted for chocolate cake instead. I ordered the chocolate zucchini bread. However, when my order was ready, I was informed that they were out of my daughter’s cake. They offered her what was left, and she settled for a cinnamon roll, mostly because she was hungry and didn’t have many options. At the food window, the cook returned a dime difference from my change, but I wasn't interested in it—I just wished the full menu had been available at 3 PM. The front room was uncomfortably hot, and I would have preferred to know that drinks were to be picked up at the register and food at a separate window. I felt a bit lost and awkward during the whole process, which could have benefited from better customer service. On a positive note, my daughter enjoyed the cinnamon roll. However, I found the zucchini bread a bit dry and overcooked for my taste. The macchiato was less sweet than I’m used to, and the same goes for my daughter’s vanilla frappuccino. This is just my personal experience, and we may give it another shot on a cooler evening. Thank you, even though we didn’t receive a “thank you, come back soon”—that's just how things go in Texas!"
