"We got two appetizers including the burrata and I can't remember the other one and my fiance got the chicken parmesan and I got the chicken piccata. The chicken piccata sauce was disappointing disappointing at best it tasted a little like dish detergent and the piece of chicken was pale and under seasoned almost boiled honestly laid within the pasta. Such a shame the desserts were fabulous"

Same great food and service. My favorite dish is the chicken Marsala...best at Rosa's than at any other restaurant in the country where I have ordered it when traveling.

"We had a lovely dinner on Sunday evening during Memorial Day weekend. Tip: Make a reservation in advance! Maybe it was because it was a holiday weekend, but they were booked fairly early. We sat indoors but had a nice view of the beach. If you can, try to grab a seat closest to the pier. They roll up the curtains around sunset so the view is amazing. We started off with some fresh oysters (beau soleil, grassy bar, kumiai) and charbroiled oysters. We relied on our server’s expertise to recommend some oyster types for us, and he didn’t disappoint! They came with 3 sauces and the cocktail sauce was one of the most flavorful I’ve ever had. The horseradish was a bit too strong for us, while the mignonette was tasty. The entrees were both amazing. The scallops were cooked nicely and decently sized. The chiles were not that noticeable flavor-wise but the corn and au gratin potatoes gave the entire dish some nice texture. The pork chop was excellently prepared — it was a thick portion that was tender and juicy on the inside while having a nice crisp char on the outside. The sides also really helped elevate the dish: the bread pudding reminded me of high quality Thanksgiving stuffing, and the creamed spinach and sourdough crisp that sit under the pork chop benefitted from the juices of the meat. The creamed spinach was also not super creamy, which I appreciated. I’m not usually a fan of pork chop but this is one of the best prepared and creative versions I’ve had. We finished with a chocolate berry dessert cocktail that was packed with flavor. The table next to us was also intrigued and asked us about it. I would recommend if you like chocolate, berries, and sweetness. Overall a really great restaurant with beautiful views and delicious food. Our server Shane was also great — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He also comped us a couple of oysters to taste because he wasn’t sure how we’d like them — we really appreciated that! Can’t recommend this restaurant enough if you’re looking for a romantic night out at Pismo Beach."

"This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic old-world atmosphere that transports you to a different era. Despite the snowy day, the lunch crowd was small, but the food was exceptional. The freshly baked bread was delightful, and the homemade minestrone soup was flavorful and light. The shrimp dish was cooked to perfection. To top it off, our waiter surprised us with a delicious dessert adorned with a chocolate message to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future."

"This place deserves 100000 stars! We were lucky to find this place as we were staying at sycamore springs and all the food by our hotel and beaches was subpar . We came here on our last night for dinner and WOW! Everything on the menu was delicious. We had grilled artichokes, cheese pudding bread, tri tip, fried chicken, and the ramen. Everything was a 10 out of 10. All their food is local and made in house. The staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS!"

"(This is actually from one year ago). Hopefully they improved, but I?ll never go back): The absolute rudest waitress and ridiculous prices. The chip bowl is tiny and high in the middle, so holds less chips, then they charge $2.50 for additionalbowl. The atmosphere was awful because the waitress was so rude and cranky. When she asked if we were finished and we repliedyes, she responded ?good?. Go get $1 banquet frozen dinners. About the same quality of food."
