"David McGuire, a certified executive chef and owner, has taken over the space previously occupied by another German restaurant for 18 years. His establishment offers authentic German cuisine that is both delicious and reasonably priced, all served in a warm, professional, and welcoming environment. What more could you ask for? I had a lovely dinner here with my wife to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The beer was excellent, and the service was friendly, professional, and attentive. I highly recommend spending an evening at this restaurant."

I had a lovely dinner here with my wife to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The beer was excellent, and the service was friendly, professional, and attentive. I highly recommend spending an evening at this restaurant.

"Overall our experience was a 5 star evening. The food was amazing, and the waiter was exceptional. The variety of menu items was great and service was fast but not in a rushed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting when we return to Hot Springs. We had two issues that made it difficult to give a 5 star overall rating. We had reservations at 6pm for 2 and were seated at a small table next to another four topper. There were two lovely booths unoccupied across from us and when asked about them were told they were being held for 7pm reservations. They offered to put us upstairs, which we did, and it was a bar atmosphere with a line of very bright lights shining above us. As mentioned, the food and wait service was amazing but it put a bit of a damper on the evening, especially since we had made reservations. At $250 for two people, it would seem a reservation would allow for a nicer table. Also, at 6pm, they were out of several of their specials which is hard to understand at such an early time on a Friday evening. There was an incredible outdoor bar area that we didn't know existed and would loved to have had a drink in before dinner. Fireplace, great atmosphere, clear plastic on outdoor walls to maintain heat but allow for an outdoor experience, all the pluses! Again, loved our evening, just would have been perfect had not these two items come up."

"The food was literally amazing. We loved meeting the executive chef, and Mitchell did a phenomenal job going over the menu. We never felt rushed and had time in between courses to really enjoy our date night. The drinks were unique and delicious. You could tell lots of love and thought went into everything that came to the table. We will 100% be back when we come to Hot Springs. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening out. My only recommendation would be to make Heist more of a speakeasy. Maybe change the door to go upstairs into a vault door where you have to put a code in to bed allowed to go upstairs. I think the mystery and sexiness would draw more people to go upstairs."

"Tonight I ordered food to go from Newks and by the time I got to the restaurant to pick up my food, both of my kids were asleep (ages 2 and 11 months) I got the crazy idea to call and ask if they could bring my food out to me and luckily the employee was super nice and said just this once! I am soooooo thankful bc I could only imagine getting them both out of their car seats screaming... the food is always great, but the service tonight had me in tears with joy!"

"This restaurant offers an excellent variety of sizes, cooking options, sauces, and sides. I'm particularly fond of the southern fried chicken, which pairs perfectly with their delicious French fries and ranch dressing for dipping the chicken tenders. The takeout service is quick, and the staff provides great service. Plus, it's very affordable!"

"The Dunkelwei Zen schnitzel was excellent along with traditional Bavarian fare like cabbage rolls and sauerkraut, and even the beef stroganoff was quite good. Service was slow considering there were only few tables occupied when we got there."
