"We got to Stella’s right as they opened at 5 and double checked that we wouldn’t need a reservation. Open Table showed us multiple reservations available between 5:15 and 6, so we assumed we’d be okay walking in. The manager(? at the hostess stand was incredibly rude. She acted very put off that we had walked in. We mentioned that several reservations were available, but were told that “that doesn’t matter” as she continued to act annoyed that we had asked for a table. A server came over and spoke to her and she eventually relented and told us we could sit on the deck. There were many tables available even as we were leaving an hour later. Thankfully, after that really off-putting reception, everything else was excellent. Our server, Nathan, was amazing. We had the whipped ricotta appetizer, chicken Marsala, and the jaegerschnitzel; all of it was perfectly made and we loved our dinners. Had a salad with romaine, corn, avacado, blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes , a couple blackened scallops and blue cheese dressing on the side. Delicious. She had the lobster fettuccine- didn't see any left in her dish.

Outstanding food quality in this casual restaurant. Best meat we have had in the CHQ area. Small but well thought out wine list. Pork chop completely tender and moist, with a lovely crust and savory bacon-onion relish. Yum!

Our second visit was even better! We had She Crab Bisque, Caesar salads, Jaegerschnitzel, veal piccata and chocolate mousse for dessert. All were delicious and perfectly prepared. The food was very good. With that said, the service was horrible. Waitress very unattendtive. Much more interested in talking with other servers and hostess who was swilling a cocktail. She came to check on our table once while chewing food. When paying our bill she told us we should order our food the same time as appetizers so not to confuse the kitchen. This is how it should be done. I dined in some of the finest restaurants throughout the country. NEVER treated this rude. Won't be back anytime soon.

As always the food was fantastic. My cousin has a good allergy and the server made sure to notify the chef and her meal Lobster fettuccine was cooked to perfection. I had the same and it was great. The noodles were cooked perfect. The she crab soup is my fav and that's what I started with! The restaurant was not very busy at the time we were there however we did feel a bit rushed. We were in and out in 40 mins...? Things came very quickly not that this seems like a valid complaint but we would have liked it paced a little slower Other than that zero complaints. They even had live music which we were pleasantly surprised for a Thursday night. Would definitely recommend and would go back!
