"I honestly regret not coming here sooner. It's like the hidden gem in Edwardsville. To start, they gave like a half loaf of bread. In the picture of the bread, we had already taken a couple of pieces. Awesome. I got the Caesar salad, and it was huge. I gave half to my wife. She got spaghetti and meatballs, and let me tell you, the meatballs were ginormous; like the size of a baseball. The sauce was light, not gooped on there trying to cover something up. I got cannelloni, and it was fantastic. We both needed to go boxes. Fun fact, when you get to go boxes, they give you another half loaf of bread. I mean, who does this? Amazing. Our server was top-notch. She was really on top of everything. Great job!!!! And the atmosphere was so simple, but so perfect. No loud music. Not a million TVs to distract from your food and your company. The prices, in my opinion, were super reasonable for the amount of food you got.All around 10/10, 100%, whatever else ya got. We have only recently given Sugo's a try, and boy are we dumb for waiting this long. This place is DELICIOUS and their staff are very friendly. We are big fans of the tortellini and their house salad. Their bread has a great flavor and is even better with the olive oil and parmesan. Edwardsville is lucky to have this place. Love going to Sugo’s to pick up their Bolognase pasta after a busy day. Call in, 10 minutes later you have a healthy, hearty meal. I actually get two meals out of their ample portions! We frequent Sugo’s often for dine in and take out. Always a great meal and service but unfortunately our take out last night was disappointing. Ordered Chicken Spiedini which we get often. Portion size was extremely small. Less than half the normal portion of sauce and linguine which caused the chicken to be extremely dry. Very disappointing for $20 and what we’re used to.
