On the way to the airport for a plane ride, we stopped for lunch. Wife had a cheeseburger which was huge and I had a ham club which was great. We both had French fries. You can tell that the place is a hit with the locals.

This charming little local restaurant is a gem! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the customers, who mostly seem to be locals, are just as welcoming. The food is delicious, and I highly recommend trying a piece of their cake. It's easily accessible for everyone, with plenty of parking available.

If you’re looking for true southern hospitality and a delicious breakfast, this is your spot. Everyone is friendly and the waitress was super sweet and attentive. We met the owner Brian and had a great chat with him while we ate. I tried fatback for the first time (when in rome! , biscuits eggs and bacon, and my bf had an omelette- we both loved our meals. I dined at TL and found it to be a comfortable place to sit. They have both long and short tables available for your group. I ordered the fried chicken, which is made to order, so it did take a little while to prepare. They do inform you of this beforehand, but it wasn’t an issue for me since I wasn’t in a hurry. The food was tasty, and the waiter was friendly. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

The chefs are skilled in preparing a variety of dishes, from seafood to prime rib, chicken and pastry to a simple bowl of Lima beans. they serve the most delicious Hushpuppies at the beginning. the cook came out and spoke to us and told us about the BBQ. the environment was very local and friendly. our waitress was very sweet and explains how the food is very locally produced and fresh. Boy was right. I never had such juicy and delicate shrimps! She also told us how they have 2 local ladies who bake the deserts for the restaurant daily. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant; it had a cozy vibe. The menu is surprisingly extensive for what looks like a small-town diner. We started with the lush puppies as an appetizer, and our main dishes were fantastic! I ordered the cheeseburger while my partner opted for the BBQ sandwich with coleslaw. We were both impressed by the quality of the food and how quickly it arrived at our table. I expected my burger to be half a pound, but it was definitely more substantial than what the menu suggested. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely come back!

This was a local establishment that had the people of Manteo starting off their day, getting their breakfast, and meeting up with others. We were welcomed quickly and told to find a place to sit and given menus. A lot of options and I choose the French Toast with bacon. It came out and beautifully sprinkled with powered sugar. The 3 slices of bacon were crispy, just the way I like it and I was full when we were done. We chatted with the people at the table next to us and it was a very comfortable morning and a great way to get a good meal in before heading off to see the sites.
