Taqueria Zapata - Piatti

Ordered a veg burrito and it wasn't good compared to places like Amelia's or Taqueria Limon. Tortilla chips were hard like. Not going back.

I ordered 1 super burrito and a taco, it came to over 27. She accused me for two super burritos until I'm home. what a rip off place. will they not recommend?

I came in for chicken tamales... when I walked in the place had a weird smell bad . The tamales were nasty , bland no taste and seemed to be old! Worst Mexican food in Fremont.

Worse streak fries. The fries were uncooked and the meat was tough and had a weird taste. I ask for extra salsa and well done fries. It seems like the added no salsa and the most soggy cold fries.

This place used to be great when Berta was the owner. I tried Zapata last year, and it wasn’t good. I recently went again, hoping for a better experience, but the food was terrible, just like last time. The chips were no better either. The woman who took my order was unfriendly. We had just moved here last summer and this review is long overdue. The food was great the first few times along with customer service. We ordered from a delivery platform can't recall which but we were brought the wrong food. Not entirely their fault but we ended up driving over to pick up anyway and when we told the cook cashier what happened, he said that's not my fault. We ordered extra food for lunch the next day and the tamales were SPOILED. Haven't been back since.

I haven't visited this restaurant in quite a while, and honestly, it seems a bit neglected. The atmosphere felt lackluster, and there was an unappealing odor, possibly from poor bathroom sanitation. I ordered Carne Asada Fries for my son at his request, and I must say, the carne was well-seasoned and the dish overall was quite tasty. If you're interested in trying it, you can either dine in or use DoorDash, as it's a chain. However, I did notice that the cashier who took our order didn't seem very enthusiastic about being there.

After years of living nearby and hearing great things about this restaurant, I finally had the chance to visit with a friend. We were eager to see what all the buzz was about. I ordered the birria quesadilla to share, and I also sampled some of my friend's tacos, torta, and birria tacos, along with a few other dishes. The food was outstanding, and we learned that they offer daily specials, which is a nice bonus. I can’t wait to go back to try the chile rellenos and pozole! The service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. You really have to experience it for yourself to see what I mean.
