We were very satisfied with both the service and the food. We ordered a flatbread pizza and fried clams, and both were absolutely delicious.

We only spent one night here, and I truly wish we could have stayed longer! The service was outstanding, with friendly staff and delicious food. They also offered an impressive beer menu with a fantastic range of choices. Our room, The Juniata, was spotlessly clean and very cozy. I also loved how conveniently located it was to all the shops in Downtown Bedford. We will definitely be back!

We were delightfully surprised to find this lovely restaurant in a quaint little town on our journey to Pittsburgh. It's truly a hidden gem! Tucked away in a cozy basement, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. We held our family reunion at this restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience. The rooms were spotless, well air-conditioned, and extremely comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The meals in both the pub and the dining room were superb, and the included generous breakfasts were a delightful bonus. The venue is very family-friendly and also perfect for couples, with a lovely outdoor space. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The rooms were spotless and cozy, and I would absolutely choose to stay here again. Breakfast was outstanding, particularly the pita French toast. The dining options were great as well, with both the pub that offers indoor and outdoor seating and the inn's restaurant, providing a wide variety of drinks and tasty meals. Overall, I give the rooms, service, and location a perfect 5 out of 5. The hotel stands out for its tranquil environment and excellent value.

Without a doubt, this is the best burger I’ve ever tasted! The bacon jam is incredible, and the fries are delightful. You must try the pretzel with beer cheese—it’s a real treat. The mussels were also exceptional. Everything I've tried here has been top-notch. If you're thinking about visiting, do it! The outdoor seating is lovely, although the indoor space is a bit cramped. The best included breakfast ever. Very nice historic inn. Rooms are nice and fit in with the history of the property. The best part of our stay was the food. Very upscale dishes at reasonable prices. The included breakfast of bacon, sausage, blueberry pancakes, and assorted fruit was fantastic. Our dinner of scallops and blackened Mahi with shrimp were also excellent. One of the standout features was their extensive beer list. Not only was it long, but each selection also had ratings next to it, likely sourced from Untappd. I wish every establishment would provide something like this! I couldn’t help but chuckle at the sign announcing the Best Bartender award from 2021, as voted by the readers of the Bedford Gazette—a charming touch for a small-town bar. I didn’t catch the name of the bartender who served me, but I was really impressed by his friendliness and attentiveness. It really hit home that I was far from NJ!

If you’re looking for a place where the owner might raise their voice at you, this is it. We visited for lunch with a party of 16 and had made reservations, but what the coordinator forgot to mention was that the restaurant only handles payments in groups of 8. When some couples and mother-daughter pairs requested to combine their checks, the not-so-friendly owner showed up and started yelling. Fortunately, the waitstaff and kitchen team managed to help us split the checks. I don’t think I’ll be returning. As for the food and drinks: they were decent, but the menu was very limited.
