"We were very disappointed. After a long wait in line in order to get to the entrance gate, we were told that we also needed tickets for the Lights and, that those tickets were sold out. We were then given a phone number to call and were assured that we could purchase tickets by phone and then continue on to dinner. As you might guess, no one answered the phone and we were literally left out in the cold. And, also left with unanswered questions. The website did not make it clear that we needed to buy additional tickets, not to mention, make the purchase online prior to attending. Nor were there any considerations for those of us who did not have those tickets. This kind of snafu is indicative of a poorly organized event; something I would not expect from the Arboretum. Why weren 't all tickets, admission and dinner, ordered and paid for online at the time the reservation was made? Why wasn 't the website set up in a clear and user-friendly fashion? We can 't wait to not attend this dinner, the Lights , and will certainly reconsider our several visits to the Arboretum each year."

Food not worth the price of the meal. This was a very basic buffet with limited choices at a gourmet price.

I was hoping for a greater variety in the buffet, but there was only 1 meat option. It was not worth the money!

I understand that this was a buffet....but another diner and I decided that eating was “ok” was generous. dreadful eating! Visualizza piatti

I know it was a buffet, but both another diner and myself agreed that calling the food "okay" would be too generous. The food was terrible!

Wonderful Christmas experience. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting the adventure of the arboretum on Christmas and the enjoyment of a carefree meal.

the dinner buffet was a nice Christmas contract for me and children. the food quality was not dissapoint and the food presentation was made beautiful. my only negatiw was that I lacked the sitting area and the space-limited, neighboring talks made me feel impenetrable due to the limited floor space. would not allow definitiw to keep me from enjoying another delicious meal served here. portable tables were cramped, people in the line right next to our table, had to move table to avoid arc in our escaping area, bad choice of salatable, large open mülleimer to the direct right of salatable, medium quality food, only one person to both check-in and check-out, $21 tax and 18% free winter price plan a bad value, let's see the next. the service was however excellent and the cabernet wein.

I treated myself and my kids to a lovely Christmas dinner buffet. I was pleased with the quality of the food and the presentation was well done. The only downside was that I found the seating area to be lacking and the space felt cramped. I felt a bit intrusive due to the limited floor space and neighboring conversations. However, this minor detail would not prevent me from enjoying another delicious meal at this restaurant.

"Hole in the wall or Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Asheville Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Asheville, North Carolina, El Que Pasa stands out as a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a clean, well-kept interior that sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The first thing I noticed was how genuinely welcoming the staff were. I was greeted with smiles all around, which immediately made me feel at home. Shortly after being seated, my waitress promptly took my drink order and within moments, I was served with a basket of fresh tortilla chips and salsa. One unique highlight that truly adds value to the experience is their salsa bar . It’s not just your run-of-the-mill selection; this bar featured about eight handcrafted salsas, each with its own unique flavor profile. Whether you’re a fan of mild, tangy salsas or crave a spicy kick, there’s something for everyone. This kind of attention to detail in offering a variety of salsas is a testament to their commitment to providing an authentic Mexican dining experience. For my meal, I ordered the steak fajitas, paired with their house special margarita. The sizzle of the fajitas as they were brought to the table instantly got my taste buds going. The steak was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The accompanying peppers and onions were fresh and added a nice balance to the dish. But what truly impressed me was the authenticity of the flavors. It’s clear that El Que Pasa takes pride in delivering a genuine Mexican dining experience, and they don’t cut corners when it comes to the quality of their ingredients. As for the margarita, it was simply a 10/10. The blend was perfectly balanced – not overly sweet, with just the right amount of tequila and a fresh citrus finish. It complemented my meal perfectly and added to the overall satisfaction of the evening. El Que Pasa offers much more than just a meal; it provides an experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Asheville, this restaurant is worth a visit. The combination of friendly service, an expansive salsa bar, and mouth-watering dishes makes it a standout choice for Mexican cuisine in the area. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and this time, I’ll be bringing my family along to share in the great food and warm atmosphere. If you’re searching for authentic Mexican flavors in Asheville with a welcoming vibe and top-notch service, El Que Pasa should be at the top of your list. Five stars all the way!"
