Service at the bar was good, prices were a bit steep for drinks, there's nothing there but a bar off to the side and a dancefloor. DJ that night kinda sucked so I guess I can't blame the joint.

Bang Mary (fish) has no taste. Seems like it?s only seasoned with flour, salt and pepper. Basically got 1 whole plantain that cost couple cents for $8. Also ordered a drink that I never received. So yeah, the experience was not great. If I had to choose a restaurant I would not come because of the under 4 stars reviews but I came with a few people. Needless to say, I Would not return.

If you're looking for Caribbean food then this is the place to be in Schenectady. This restaurant serves Guyanese and some Jamaican food. They do have some good curry chicken, goat, and other food items on the menu. The food is given in decent sized portion so one can get a good sized meal. I used to order tropics a lot but I stopped for a while because their fried rice is usually hard. Today I’m trying it after a long time to see if they redeem themselves. However id say the hard rice was more flavorful and fresh compared to the one I got today. It tasted stale n fishy. The chicken was fresh n hot but the rice is so disgusting and disappointing. Tropics please investigate your fried rice please ?

So this was my first time here. I chose this spot randomly because they had calamari which i love and I was visiting the Schenectady area. Anyway, I treated my dad his fiance to lunch. We came after the carnival. My dad his fiance were the only ones who liked their food. I did not like mine or my drink. The service was OK. So, this rating is based on my food specifically and my time there. Other than that, I'd say its pretty chill and the scenery is nice.

Highly disappointed!! Need to work on both delivery and pick up service. This was the fourth time I ordered food and had to wait a long time to get it. Ordered delivery this time around the driver took 2 hours to deliver. Call the restaurant the lady kept saying the food will be there soon, and she will call me back to let me know what’s going on. She never called lied! Only to find out the food never left the restaurant no driver assigned to deliver the food. Order was placed at 3:50 food got delivered way after 5. The driver said the restaurant never called him and reached out to him mins after 5. What made it worst they gave me the wrong order! Sickening. Visualizza piatti
