Waldo's Bbq - Piatti

First stop when we got to Mesa! We were taken here and not disappointed at all. The flavor is truly MidWest BBQ, and the staff were super friendly, even when some of the customers were not!

The chicken was tender. I was happy about that. BBQ sauce was ordinary. I had actually thought it would be a special blend, kinda like a family recipe. Potato salad was tasty. No complaints just nothing special.

Wow what a find. This place was so good the BBQ sauce was spectacular. Had the sandwich with pulled pork and pit ham omg so good wish it would have been a tad bigger but so flavorful. the first time here. food quality was excellent. had the baby back ribs. my wife had the kartoffel with pulled pork. scotty our waiter was very friendly, and they could say to the way he acted, that he really took care of our culinary experience. mason jar cheesecake with blueberry is great, plus they get to keep glass.

Good food in a fun atmosphere. Meats and sauce were served on cast iron skillets and drinks served in mason jars. We tried the ribs, brisket, pulled pork and ham; the ribs were falling off the bone and the clear winner among our group, followed by the brisket. We didn't even eat much of our sides- they were just ok. We are looking forward to going back again for more ribs!

OMG, the best BBQ I've had in years! I don't know if they make their own sauce, but whatever it is, it's got the best flavor/taste of any sauce I've ever had. The pulled pork and brisket are delicious, and the Mac and cheese is good (other reviews say differently). Highly recommend the sampler and making a stop here if your in the area (the locals already know). I ordered on line and the order was ready when I arrived 20 minutes later. we were greeted by our waitress alice with a big, real smile. that started our lunch on the right foot! She was super helpful with the menu as it was our first time. alice was very accommodating while she was friendly quite professional! she deserves an increase, especially in the light of the very bad customer service so many other restaurants stores experience in these days! our lunch was excellent, we both have the bbq pork loaded baked kartoffel! we will come back! hopefully alice works on this day! thank you again. she is notch

for the first time in Waldo’s for lunch. quite busy and waiters/waitress were blackened. even they heard that they were short help, but both did an excellent job to maintain. my ribs were dry, mac and cheese was bland and cold, but kartoffelsalat was good. eating daughter and woman was above average, but not great. server was the best part of our experience, he made an excellent work and very friendly. don't think I should go back because I was better at other BBQ sites here in mesa. it wasn't terrible, but there's better out there I had. also the peach calf was excellent.

terrible experience. ordered ripening, pulled pork sandwich, maize beans, bores and 1 side order of the kartoffel wedges. wanted maisbrot, but they were out. handmade order in bag and paid. see the pictures I have received. I called her immediately and spoke to Frank, but he said as soon as we go with the order, they won't do it right. even if they had my ticket order and I offered them the pictures of all the potato wedges we received, and to send a baked kartoffel. he refused to offer a compensation or to allow us to return to receive the right order. when I threatened to deny my credit card and to check for social media, he replied: “Go ahead”. here it is so! btw, eating was cold and the...
