"My wife and I ordered three cheesecakes from Cheesecake Machismo for our rehearsal dinner and we were thrilled with our experience. I visited the shop a week before the event to see the variety of cheesecakes and get some questions answered before placing my order. Lynn was incredibly helpful and recommended some delicious flavors. We ended up choosing the Double Dutch Chocolate, Caramel Brownie, and Cherry cheesecakes. These three were enough to serve 25 people, and even some of the servers at our rehearsal dinner restaurant wanted a taste of these delightful desserts. They looked beautiful and tasted even better. Highly recommended!"

"This place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality beer, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere. While we were in the Albany area, a friend brought us here, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for any beer enthusiast. I tried my first slow pour paired with a Pilsner from Suarez, and it was wonderfully smooth and easy to drink. It complemented the cold cuts on a warm toasted baguette beautifully. The lively ambiance, complete with board games to borrow, added to the fun. I definitely plan to return!"

"I always have an incredible meal with equally outstanding service! Both DP’s and Yono’s are two well-known family-owned restaurants in the area, and for good reason. I've been a regular customer for the past two years, and they never let me down. My favorites are the dumplings, French onion soup, burrata, stir-fried noodles, and Pasta Ryleigh. If you have room for dessert, definitely try the Bananas Foster or the homemade salted caramel ice cream – you won’t regret it!"

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."

"I visited the restaurant on Saturday night, November 4, around 7:30, with a friend for the first time. Wow, we absolutely loved it! The staff was fantastic and knowledgeable. One of the employees even took the time to share some fascinating history about the place. I mentioned that the building used to be a flower shop for many years, which was a fun revelation. We were pleasantly surprised to discover they had live music! The band, Emerald Dawn, was incredible! Before we knew it, the place was packed, and we ended up staying for two and a half hours. We enjoyed ice cream followed by coffee. It was such great entertainment and a delightful surprise! Thank you!"
