Food quality and customer service is great. The ambience can be improved. I will recommend this place definately if you are appetite afghani cuisine.

We just ate dinner here. It was excellent!!! Very friendly people and the server was knowledgeable and polite. The food was flavorful and addicting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sitting down here made me feel like I had travel outside of Houston. It’s atmosphere competes with the food as being one of the best experiences I’ve had this year for food in Houston. The hummus was fresh and made me feel comforted while I pigged out on the beef shami!

Great food and the staff here is great. It is a really nice place to try even if you are not familiar with the kitchen. You have pictures on the menu and it is usually grilled meat with rice or naan (bread). You can't go wrong here. Everything is good, freshly made and served hot. Try it anyway.

Afghan Village Resturant we are visiting since it?s opened almost 6 years+ before. We always enjoyed their food. As per their specialty of authentic Afghani dishes sometimes we feel different than previous experience but still they are in top 3 for their dishes. Our always favorites are Chapli Kabab, Mantoo, Bolani and Qabuli Palau. This time Bolani was little different from round to oval shaped but the taste was fine. Chapli Kabab is much better than any other afghan restaurant.

Never in the actual restaurant, always ordered by over eat. And always the same order the Afghan village kabob platter. The plate comes with beef-chunk cabob, beef-kabob, beef-round cabob, chicken cabob and a huge amount of rice. The amount is so large that a person can eat 6 7 times from a dish. All kabobs are really mixed and perfectly cooked. I liked her chicken cabob the most. Before it was $23.99, now seems the price was increased to $29. I hope they have also increased the varieties of Kabob with the plate with the rising price. View menu
