"Aqua Terra - Terrific Again! Our family had some relatives visit from Ireland, always a good thing! They wanted to take us out to dinner so of course we went to AquaTerra , where I have always had an excellent Gluten Free, safe fine dining experience. This time we booked for 8, and they put us in the semi private corner alcove. Excellent, and there are no bad views anywhere in Aqua of the Kingston harbour and Confederation Basin. it was particularly beautiful that evening.GF wise, all you have to do is mention it, and information will be passed on as well as dishes adapted for you where possible. It is fully understood here.Local meat and vegetables are throughout the menu, they buy as locally as possible, we noted some items from the farm behind us.The price is great for the quality. It's not a budget restaurant, and is worth every penny. Still not over the edge expensive. No rush, pleasant chat, excellent atmosphere - and the food - well it's GF safe AND it meets my requirement for delicious things I don't make at home. Our party sampled it all from shellfish, calamari, a really great looking steak, duck done two ways, it was all great.Reservations are a good idea- if you ask they will try to get you a window seat, but there are no bad ones.Also, the desserts are to die for. The Pastry Chef describes them as her passion, and it shows."

View of the lake was nice ,,service was nice, food etc and the burger was good and the salad was fresh and tasty. Nothing exceptional however. Could be updated in the food section .

We stayed at the hotel 2 nights and ate breakfast on a Sunday morning. The menu offered a wide variety. We had omelets and toast with homemade berry preserves. The coffee was very good and the service was outstanding. View menu

The wait was incredibly long for a breakfast. An hour and 15 minutes with only 4 other tables. Food was well presented but really not delicious at all. Dry and bland. We paid $44 for breakfast, eek. The view is nice though and waitstaff friendly.

Staff is excellent and service attentive. Window seating available. Food is very good, executive chef, with many options available (see online menu). Comfortable seating and extensive wine list. Worth a visit. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

I took my elderly mom out for breakfast on a Saturday morning- We live nearby so we go there often. The breakfast was good. However, about halfway through the meal, while my moms plate was still half-full, the waiter brought us the cheque. We hadn't been there over 40 min yet- We had to leave. When we complained to Corine, the manager, she told us that this is "Marriot standard". We haven't visited since then. So be prepared to be rushed out if you are dining here. That is apparently their "standard"!

We ate dinner and breakfast here while staying at the hotel. I don't usually dine in the hotel, but a friend and advised me that it was a local favourite. We booked ahead and had a window table. Dinner started with a beet salad which we shared. The kitchen split the serving so that we both had a lovely salad. It was tasty, innovative and stunning. Great start! We were not very hungry and also split our main. This came out in a platter and was the fish feature -- a fillet of snapper. The snapper was beautifully grilled and served with new potatoes, mini turnips, carrots and a tasty sauce making use of fresh peas. It was truly a dish of Ontario summer bounty.
