"Arleta Cafe. My boyfriend and I hit this place up last Sunday and I was pretty impressed. Small, cozy dining area. This place only has about 6-7 tables and you can watch the chef create your meal right in front of you. Greg got the Portland Best Biscuits 'N Gravy, he LOVED them. I got the Sicilian Hash..pretty good. Its not corned beef hash, it tasted more like momma 's slow roasted Sunday pot roast. There was a lovely parmesan scrambled egg folded neatly on top that was also very good. We will totally be back. Oh! Try the Prosecco OJ for $6.00!"

Had seen this restaurant on Food Network but it was my local Portland friends that convinced me to go. Had both the biscuits and gravy and the Sicilian hash and both were unbelievable

I tried their famous biscuits and gravy, accompanied by a side of bacon. Everything was delicious! I ended up taking half of it home to savor later. Unfortunately, they don't offer diet colas, so I opted for water instead. The total was $17 plus tip.

Oh yeah! Super cool friendly peoples and tasty tasty grinds. I thoroughly enjoyed my quiche of the day....light, fluffy and just the right amount of ingredients for a well balanced flavor. The mixed greens salad complimented it perfectly! Oh yeah, did I mention the excellent service and super friendly peoples? ; View menu

The most satisfying, wholesome breakfasts you 'll find in Portland. Cozy setup with local art on the walls (bought No Working During Drinking Hours . Plenty of nearby street parking. It 's pretty far out on the southeast side, and can get crowded due to popularity, but it 's still a better deal than any of the top spots around downtown.

Fantastic! My wife and I visited this place in search of a nice spot for a simple breakfast. The food arrived swiftly and was packed with flavor. The coffee was excellent and bottomless. The café is small with limited seating, but the wait wasn't too long. I can imagine that it might be an issue if we had come on a weekday. The service was outstanding and very friendly. We would definitely return!

Yummy!. I had breakfast at Arleta Library for the first time on Saturday morning, and was very impressed. Excellent service, and awesome food. I had the biscuits with rosemary gravy, and was not disappointed. The sweet potato biscuits were divine, and the rosemary gravy was delicious. However, the potatoes were not cooked, so I couldn't eat them...this was disappointing. Overall, the meal was very tasty and I would recommend Arleta Library to friends in the future! View menu

exceeded my expectations. Such a sweet little place. We went at 1030a on Tuesday and don't wait. The service was great! The server was fast, helpful, attentive and very friendly. I never had to ask for any articles. They only delivered everything! Even the BOH was friendly. The food was fantastic and fresh. They offered homemade spicy raspberry jam with bourbon and a homemade ketchup. How does ketchup taste? I never buy a shop again. Enjoy a weekend brunch with bonus options!

Pleased. Me and my gf went to try the b&g after my dad passed up when he heard the wait was over an hour. I dont mind waiting to eat a good breakfast. Or good biscuits n gravy for that matter. While waiting the owner, dont know the name gave me and my friend a crumb cake, while I dont normally go for sweets for bfast or brunch I more importantly dont turn down free food. It was very yummy! The biscuits and gravy were different from the norm but very good. The eye candy isnt bad either.
