"Because we stayed at the hotel (which I do NOT recommend) we ate three meals at the Baia, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clearly the restaurant's standout feature is its view over the bay. Breakfast and lunch were better experiences than dinner, likely because the staff was less overworked at those times. Like many other reviewers, we experienced very slow service at dinner, and the dinner menu was both very limited and overpriced, even by Miami standards. Of all the things we ate there, only the mezza platter (available at lunch and dinner) was at all memorable. The entrees were mediocre, and the wine selection, at least by the glass, was surprisingly limited given the size of its bar (which also serves the hotel and is SRO in the evenings). This is a place to go for the view, not the food. If you want the view, I'd suggest lunch. Too bad, really. There are restaurants and hotels that take advantage of great locations to produce a really memorable experience. This just isn't one of them. Note that the restaurant faces west, so in the evening the sun will be in your eyes until after sunset. This is also less of an issue at lunch."

The renovated Mondrian restaurant features a nice bar and offers beautiful views for sunset. However, the food was mediocre and overpriced, and the service was just okay. Overall, it's a pleasant spot, but that's about it. We won’t be returning. View menu

the restaurant is gorgeous, the view to die for. service was good but you could tell the restaurant was short on waiters they took a while to check on the tables. The food arrived cold and not at the same time for everyone. It could also have more variety of food on menu

The view you get here makes the restaurant spectacular, We went for lunch were sat rightaway on a table right by the water, our waitress was very nice but I did sense they were low on staff, she forgot our appetizer and also took a little long to come check on us, she however was always very nice and that made up for it. We ordered sushi which was great, the skirt steak and the truffle fries which were also delicious. For lunch there really is not much variation on the food, only 3 plates to choose from. overall I would go back it was great
