"This restaurant can be a bit unpredictable. They've had great takeout in the past, and I've enjoyed good meals here before. Unfortunately, last night was a different experience. The restaurant was crowded, but there was only one waitress managing the entire place. After we were seated, we were quickly given water and bread. However, we waited about 15 minutes before the waitress came to greet us. We asked for wine glasses, and while she brought them, she didn't open our bottle or offer us a corkscrew. We had to wait another 15 minutes to catch her attention again, and she seemed to brush off the delay as if it were no big deal. In total, we saw her maybe three times throughout the evening. I understand that busy nights happen, but having just one waitress for the whole restaurant really isn't ideal. Additionally, our food took a long time to arrive, and both of our carbonara pasta dishes were quite dry."

The service was terrible. I sat for 30 minutes without anyone coming to take my order, and then I waited over an hour for my food, which wasn’t even that good.

This was our 2nd experience with barrels... since taking and this time in. This stop in the meal was very, very good. We had a delicious dinner at a reasonable price with super service. We'll visit Barrels again. We have a holiday house in Ventnor and Barrels of Margate is very convenient and worth a further visit. Another super culinary experience...Lieblings dinner...reasonable prices below $20 below $25... Danielle our server was fantastic... highly recommended barrels!!

Hello, Hello... You 're missing out. If you are like me, you may have been driving past this place for years. I will be putting Barrels on my Must eats list when in Margate. I hope you feel the same. Very large portion, fresh salads, great appetizers. BYOB, no corking fee. The place is small and very clean. You must try this place, and please let me know what you think.
