"Delightful little coffeehouse. I?m visiting from Baltimore and my sister took me here. The wait for my food was a little long and they forgot my potatoes but it was pretty much worth the wait. I didn?t even take a pic of my breakfast tacos because I absolutely inhaled them; they were amazing. My gf had a steak sandwich that was also ridiculously good. Like I said, they forgot my potatoes but once I got them they were also delicious! If you go in a group, I?d order together so"

First time coming and absolutely loved it. Had the tacos and French toast with a coffee and each was exceptional. Blew my mind and I will return soon.

Wonderful people, wonderful service, and amazing food. The breakfast tacos were a 10/10. My wife loved the horchata French toast. We definitely found a new spot and will be coming back.

Battlegrounds used to be one of our favorites but recently their quality has deteriorated. The food is overpriced and you can see them cooking everything, their ingredients are Harris Teeter brand. The coffee drinks are still pretty good

Quaint place with great service and tasty food, cooked to order. I had the horchata French toast. Very tasty. The coconut flakes added a delectable touch. My son highly recommends the breakfast tacos. Lastly, the make fresh squeezed lemonade! View menu

Came in on my coastal coffee trail, and I am not disappointed! Staff was so kind and the coffee was flavorful. I also ordered the blueberry/banana/almond butter toast and it was just as delicious as it is beautiful. Cute little spot, be sure to stop by!

I can't believe I can enjoy a 16 oz iced lavender latte for just $5 in today's economy! It's incredible. I can't believe I didn't discover this place sooner, but I'm definitely a fan now! The breakfast sandwich was great as well. You've got yourself a regular customer!

Very limited seating for inside. They have some tables outside. The people were very nice and patient while we looked at the menu. The Mocha de Mexico was very good. The drip coffee was ok. Would not get it again. It was hard to find because I didn't see a sign for it. Had to make a U-turn. View menu

This place is the cutest and most homely feeling place. It's super tiny inside but they have outdoor seating which was perfect for the beautiful weather we are having. I ordered the London fog latte which was perfect. Had just a hint of the lavender with the earl grey tea and the right amount of foamy milk. We ordered the breakfast tacos which had a good balance of fat to freshness. Absolutely loved the pickled red onions with the fresh cherry tomatoes. So good that we will

Small coffee shop with nice decor. Has a small bar for inside seating and a picnic table outside for seating. Even though the shop itself looks very Instagram worthy, the staff was not as knowledgeable about the coffee itself. Asked about getting an espresso with milk foam, the coffee was very bitter and burnt. Also got a hot cider holiday drink. The cider was luke warm at best and had an overwhelming taste of orange, didn't even finish the drinks. For $12 for two drinks it

"If I could give this place a 1.5 rating, I would. It was Thanksgiving and we had reservations. We are a party of 5 and were seated in a corner booth clearly too small for all of us. I asked the hostess if we could move but she said “no, there are other reservations and this is all we have.” Meanwhile, there are plenty of other tables open. After asking 2 more times, we were moved to a larger booth and made to feel uncomfortable with the body language. Oh yes and we were also told that there were on 2 thanksgiving dinners left. Our server was clearly way too busy with other tables. He checked in and took our order, but the attention could have been more. Especially since there were 5 of us. Very frustrating. We ordered some mussels for appetizer. The mussels were not cooked fully and many of them were not open and very slimy/raw still. My 13 year old son deeply cut his finger trying to open one of them and had to excuse himself to the bathroom to clean the blood off his hands and clean his shirt. Not necessarily a great start to dinner. The mussels were sent back and after waiting 45 minutes, they were prepared properly. We all ordered our food, including my order of the 40 ounce ribeye. The ribeye was very chewy and not necessarily tasteful either. The side dishes were cold and we rarely saw our waiter to complain. By then, we wanted to just eat and get out of there. I didn’t want to cause a scene in front of my family especially on thanksgiving. When our check came, an automatic 20% tip was added. This was a very expensive meal for 5 people and I feel as if I could have gotten a lot better somewhere else. Very disappointed all around. This place is overpriced and overrated."
