"We had the chefs 6 course selection on a weeknight which was fabulous. They accommodated my gluten allergy by switching out beer broth muscles for these AMAZING blueberry ribs. Seriously some of the best meat I’ve had and the highlight of this meal. Other than this the desert was wonderful and the service was nice too. Didn’t love some of the other dishes sauce pairings. Was a little too salty for me. But nonetheless a great dinner for a special occasion."

Fantastic date night with my wife. Service and cuisine were great. Recommend trying the cheese plate as a dessert with a nice red.

10/10 would recommend. Blackbird certainly falls into the fine dining category for me in Chicago but it is one of the only, if not the only, places I would

really Michelin star it worth. reasonable prices. nice and friendly staff. we went to lunch. nizza flavor balance, although the sourdough bread pudding was a bit too sour for me. beautiful combination of textures. good cocktails. View menu

Small sizes and a non-set menu made this really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive. Drinks came rather quickly. It’s. It very big, which was a very nice feel. They have this weird painting on the wall that gave me demonic vibes but that didn’t affect the food

Life takes us on many journeys, tonight it took us to Blackbird in Chicago with my beautiful wife Ashley Allen and my precious daughter Lilly Anastasia Allen. This was Lilly’s first Michelin Star restaurant and she did great at her two hour meal! She played with the Dinosaur

We had a fantastic experience at Blackbird. We had been there a few years ago and found it to be even better than our last visit. Very creative food and a wonderful wine list. The best part of the experience though was our server Andrew Herring! He was one of the most knowledgeable and engaging servers we have had anywhere in the world. Please keep him (and promote him! . delicious and lush meal, which is carefully prepared. the taste and the presentation are excellent! the staff are attentive, more than happy, their love to share the food and drinks served, and polite. I shared several dishes with a friend (they are very courteous and presplit some of the dishes for us,) and there is also a tasting menu with wein paring available. eating was exquisite and I would definitely recommend for a special night!

We came for the restaurant week menu and you get what you pay for. Because of the low price, I felt that their use of ingredients were not the best or they did not fully exploit their ingredients to their full potential. The first course was the best among all, dessert was also good. Reasonable price for their wine listings. The environment was very loud, but was expected for restaurant week. The servers were attentive for such a busy place.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
